Bad news.
I HAVE THIS Ovo cage and the little pod my albino dwarf boy likes to sleep in is really hard to close.
I guess the last time i closed it.. didn't do such a great job. i wouldn't rest until i found him. .20 minutes into looking i heard him and he fell in this little tube that connects my shelves together. I got him out, bathed him a little (he was covered in pee and poo) and now hes sitting i n a towel on my pillow. IDk if hes just fat or swollen everywhere but its one or the other. He doesn't seem to be moving much.. idk if its from strain, being extremly tired, or in pain. when i first got him out his eyes were open and now they are closed.. i think he knows he got out and he can rest.. I'm scared for his life.
Hes my little angel :c
Where he pees has some blood on/in it . I really wanna sit up with him but I really just want him to get some rest...idk if I should place him back in his cage or not... I think I'll put him back in his little pod (properly closed) with a whole lot of tissue. I tried to give him food and water to no avail, and his legs are just twitching here and there, but when i went to get him out he was squirming a lot. I hope its just strain and the blood in his pee area will go away..
I have anxiety so prefer to PM. I'm sorry if this inconveniences you!

Thanks and I'm really hoping not.. im hoping extreme irritation and nothing to worry about :S He fell face first and (im pretty sure) stayed that way.. im worried he tried to turn around in a space he could barely move in and hurt his organs or broke maybe even dislocated things. The more he sleeps, the more reaction iget out of him... im not too sure when i he could have gotten out but it was probably a while.. :c Dang. I feel super bad for this tiny mistake that could lead my boy to death I actually just named him.. Lucifer. I want him to at least go with a name if he has to..hes currently sleeping upside down (I dont think he likes it) im scared to place him face down.. but hes on tones oftissue and a bit of his old bedding to help him feel better smelling his nest

And yes, I've been working my butt off all day cleaning all of their things, washing down their cage and giving them all a bath to help. I currently use Softwood Petco brand bedding as it's the largest bag of bedding I can find, non-dusty and they've all done very well on it. I had so many sick rats while using Carefresh, it was just too dusty.
I'm not sure where you are, I'm in the UK. If you're in the UK you can order it online which is probably the easiest way to get it.
Wait - I just realised that you have said petco. If you search "Pharma Q Ivermectin" you might find results. Otherwise there's these two UK websites that might ship abroad:
http://www.ratwarehouse.com/shop_detail ... 637&cat=11http://www.pharmaqwebshop.co.uk/product ... oductID=65That might be a lot of hassle though. I know from using a (mostly Canadian) rat forum that something called Revolution is also good, and you can get that as a spot-on too. Quite sure you can also order that without prescription online too.
I'll check out Petco and see if they have it, if not I'll buy it online for sure. Thanks for the help!
On another note :
These are the two pups I've decided to keep from Velvet and Isobel's litter. I believe they are both from Velvet's litter and I may decide to keep one from Isobel's litter too, but for now I've decided on these two little cuties. I love them to death.

Velvet feeding some of the pups<3 :

OMG they are so cute!

Silver died having blood around her bottom area, it was painful for her because she couldn't move properly and wanted nothing more than to run on her wheel, and go back to being herself - needless to say though Silver was almost three years old, and she had never escaped so I doubt it's the same thing - I'm not sure what the problem could be with your hamster but I hope he pulls through it and lives for the rest of his little life. I wish I could help you out there but if it is his time, just make sure to comfort him until the last moment (which hopefully it isn't.) You never know, it could just pass over.

Thanks for everyones support.
I was hoping he'd make it through the night but when I woke up (about 5 minutes ago) I found him already gone :c
Everytime one of my animals die I coat a box in fur from one of my older stuffed animals and bury them in my backyard.. So I guess I have to go and do that now... I guess from now on I'll make sure everythings properly closed... And even if I tried to help him, theres no vets around me who work 24 hours AND work with rodents (There is one but not 24 hours) *sigh*

Oh dear, I'm sorry for your loss. It is hard when they die but they never really leave you.

Sugar is a Sapphire WW girl, almost two years old.
Freckle is a Pearl WW girl, almost 1 1/2 years.
Spice was Sugar's littermate, and she is an Agouti WW girl, who passed away before she was 1 1/2.

You are very open to post pictures of them, of course ^^ If you'd like them in the gallery though just PM Timber. with the subject titled "Gallery". Timber. get them posted as soon as they can :3
