In this world, there are some people who
are different. Not too different but they have
wings. All types of wings: small or large, dark
or light, soft or sharp. It all depends on the
person and how the wings developed.

These people hide the fact that they
are different since most of mankind,
the wingless, have yet to accept
these... differences. Maybe in
time the two groups could learn
to get along?

In this roleplay, there will be both winged
and wingless characters. It's up to those
characters to decide whether the groups
end up getting along or the few wingless
who decided to try to get rid if those
who are 'different'.

You are a 'special' person, a person who has wings that are growing from your back. You keep them secret because you don't know what someone might do if they saw your wings. Would the flip out? Maybe take it in strides? You can't afford to take the chance since you don't want to end up on an operating table with machines and the like attached to you while people cut into you for DNA sampling it to try to find out how to grow wings. It's up to you if you show people your wings but remember, if you end up strapped to a table that it is your own fault...

I know everyone hates rules but there is a need for them. So here they are:

•Writing: I would like this to be a semi-lit roleplay meaning atleast a paragraph consisting of SIX to EIGHT sentences.
•Grammar and Spelling: I would prefer you to have very good spelling and grammar but I understand that we are all human and make mistakes. No text speak unless it is in OOC.
•Characters: No godmodding, no Gary-sues or Mary-sues. No perfect characters! Everyone has some type of flaws. Please try to keep genders even if possible.
•Romance and Drama: Please keep romance to a minimum if possible since this isn't solely based on romance but drama is okay as long as it isn't between users on OOC.
•Forms: I will not be providing you with a form so please make your own.
•If you have read the rules, please place 'Winged and Wingless' somewhere on your form.

Rebekkah is a very quiet girl who doesn't tend to venture out to find friends but rathers the people come and talk to her instead so she doesn't see herself as a bother. Her personality depends on the day, the people she's around, and the weather. Whenever the weather is sunny and bright, her mood tends to be a bit brighter than normal though her normal isn't very bright and cheery, especially after all the turmoil she had been through. Her mother dying, her father leaving, and ending up absolutely by herself before she had turned eighteen, all just before he died and became an angel. Though her outlook on life is grim, she will put on a façade to sometimes try to appear happy and like nothing's wrong though when she's alone, she cuts. It's the only way she found any relief from the situation.

personality;; Mathias leads a very two faced sort of life. Around others, he is cocky and cynical, usually obscuring his rude side with his charming attitude. He is also quite the flirt when it comes to women, a 'womanizer' as some might put it.

history;; Mathias learned from a young age that he was different. He also learned that other people did not like different. He taught himself to keep his wings hidden, since his parents had been missing since he was born. He was raised in an all boys orphanage until he was old enough to leave. He made an earnest living working odd jobs to make ends meet.

love life;; Even though Mathias may be devilishly flirty, he finds it difficult to commit in a relationship. He prefers to have countless flings than a real relationship. Deep down, he feels that if he did commit to someone, they would just leave him.
