Flavio eased back into his chair after hearing Alex's apology, the air became slightly less tense as he did. The mob boss looked to the masses of food as they were brought in to the center of the table on silver dishes.

Silvio flashed Alex a small smile hoping to relax her a bit. Even he was starting to calm down from their spat earlier mostly because he was hungered by the smell of food. He still was untrusting but he knew where she was coming from.

I watch the people and the table around me, feeling the shift in the air almost instantly. It was odd what you could feel when you let your words stay silent and let your guard down.

Alex smiled and chuckled , she knew he was smiling cause of the food . It was like a child waiting for his ice cream " calm down ,it's food " she whispered with a big grin

She slowly walked into the room with her sparkling baby blues fixed on her boyfriend, Lance, her red lips pulled up in a smile as she moved to his side, tall heels clicking on the stone floor lightly before she sat beside him. She moved her manicured hand to rest on his as her long legs crossed delicately, her eyes falling upon the others before flashing an encouraging smile at Silvio. The girl was pretty, she'd give her that, but all it took was one wrong move and she'd be out of here.

She then felt a pressure fall upon her as she thought about this. Being Lance's girlfriend meant the same thing, if she didn't watch herself she would be kicked to the curb with no job, no way to keep the shop up, and no boyfriend. She bit her lip lightly before looking down at the table, smoothing out the short back dress, now worried.

I smile and sit down, kissing his cheek lightly. I pulled the empty chair out next to me for him to sit. I scanned the room for Tyrese but didn't find him. I was relieved and not at the same time. I was starting to get into the world of ' your don't always have to take care of your older brother' faster than I was used to.

Silvio rolled his eyes as Alex, "Yeah its food that is why I am excited. I am a complete meat head." He laughed softly looking at her. His smile was coming out easier now.

Lance held Addali's hand on the table with a small smirk on his face. He was glad that she finally made it to the dinner especially before his father made his speech. "You look gorgeous. " He said looking her over.

Flavio stood with his wine glass raised, "To Silvio and Alex. We know that you sacrifice a lot for this family with this marriage but we also wish for the best for you two. We hope that love finds its way to you both."
