Landon is soon fast asleep beside her, his mouth hangs open while he snores softly. Landon occasionly mumbling incoherent phrases. His mom frouns worriedly at him, knowing he has never handled stress well.

Crystal wakes a while later. Hearing landons mumbling she leans in close and si gs a soft lulaby in his ear to help him sleep calmly.

Landon reaches for her in his sleep, settling better to her song. the last word he mumbles clear enough to hear is Crystal's name before he falls into a deep sleep.

Crystal lets him hold her. She looks over at his mother not even knowing her name. She strokes landons red hair lovingly.

Em smiled at the girl giving her a gentile wave. "Hi" she simply answered. Not sure what else to do. She didn't spend alot of time with Lee, and had never spent much time with other little kids either. Em's hand rested on her tummy which was grumbling again. "Are you hungry?" She asked Jessie.

*She introduced herself as Jennifer to Crystal about 40 pages ago. }

Landon's mom smiles at Crystal getting board with reading and re-reading the same magazine. "I don't know how he got on with out you.." a hint of sadness in her voice. watching Landon's slow and steady breathing.

Cystal says, " ive been going out wih him for almost a year but you wouldnt kbow because you werent around. You migh thi k im a horrible seductress who seduced your baby but thats not how it happened. It was his idea."

Jennifer looks at her suprized but not shocked, knowing what had happened with the girl before her. "Because you let him take his time, you didn't push him, but you also didn't prepare him for what could happen either, I take it neither of you were taking any precautions?" She was keeping her tone even and calm not rising to the provocation. "You were also the reason I could stay away as long as I did. I knew he had you to help him with the little things that can make him so uptight, I knew he was ok.. I just made a miscalculation, but then so did you." Glancing at her tiny sickly grandaughters. "And now there are three people who need you."

Crystals eyes stay calm. "I was. I was on birthcontrol. It didnt work. So i was taking percautons. And no mother should ever leave thwir hild in the hands of another for a long lenght of time. I love landon and didnt think anything would come of it. I have taken care of him above myself most of the time. You need to stop running off andbliving the spy life. You have a kid. Where is that right? No matter how old he is. I unlike you will care for my babies."

[Grengirl]

"Landon has proven to me he is grown up enough to have a family of his own. Ive never abandoned him, and i will continue to help both of you. I want to see my gran babies strong enough to leave this place and wont be taking another assignment." She sighs glad Landon found a strong girl willing to stand up to her for him. "You should be saving your strength, shouldn't you?"
