Once I set foot back in the cave after my long walk, I all but collapsed on the floor. Thankfully the whole kitty thing made the action a bit more graceful than it normally would have been. If I were lucky, everyone would just chalk it up to me being a bit tired. The cave still smelled of fresh blood from the deer being skinned and I was still quite upset about that but it would be a discussion for later. The only thing anyone would really want to discuss, was my dramatic change in hair color. Going from royal blue to snow what was a pretty noticeable change but it was dark in my shadowy little corner of the cave so if no one approached, the change would go unnoticed.

Hiro looked up at Jinx before she collapsed to the ground, or; wait, that was Jinx right? He furrowed his brow and leaned over, picking up a strand of her hair. What the heck was this? Her hair was...white? He thumped the back of her head softly, looking at her with a deadpan expression. "Fang."

Fang? What? Oh yeah, that's me. It had been such a long time since anyone had called me by nickname that I'd pretty much forgotten it. The whole almost dying constantly thing brought us all close enough to where I began letting it slide whenever someone called me Jinx. The soft blow to the back of my head brought me from my musings just long enough for me to see that it was Hiro. "Don't freak out. That's actually...my hair. I don't even remember what color it used to be but I thought I had much darker hair than this. Obviously, I was very wrong."

I finished skinning the last deer and sighed. I started to cut the meat off of the bone to cook. I figure Ren would do that. I lay the meat aside once I'm done and start to sharpen the edge on on one of the thicker bones. It started to look like a stake after a little while.

I walked to the wall of the cave and sank down to sit against it. I was so tired, it wasn't even funny. After rolling over like a good dog all day I hadn't anytime to rest. I wonder if they notice I've gone missing. I'm sure by now they have. I wrap my wings around me like a shield that blocked any light planning to ruin my chances of sleep. I lay my head on my knees and closed my eyes hoping to catch a few hours of rest before the deer were ready toveat.

"Oh...uh, okay," Hiro said, his fingers finding their way to her ears. "It's...different," he muttered, touching it as if he could feel the color change too, which actually, he kind of could. Her hair felt a little bit softer, and of course it was still damp so there was that.
