"Sure." She smiled. "I need some fresh air anyways." She noticed just how... nice he smelled now that he was clean when he didn't stink of eraser insides. His hairstyle also looked pretty good. She blushed slightly, which she attempted to cover up by looking outside and swishing her hair partially into her face. "Let's go then."

Well, though Tool, looking at the shower, since I seem to be now a part of this flock and my wings look pretty weird, maybe I should take a shower myself. He walked into the bathroom, turning on the water and testing it with his foot. It was lukewarm instead of hot, probably due to the fact that there had already been a whole bunch of people who had taken showers. He shrugged, getting in and attempting to get as much gunk off of himself and his wings as possible.

Fang laughed, after a few moments they were already as close to the town as they could be. They had to land in the forest, of course. "Alright, alright, you win," he said, letting himself glide downward towards the trees.
He landed silently on the ground of a small clearing, crouching for a moment to catch his balance, then standing up. He let his wings cool down for a moment as he waited for Max to land.

MAX

I grinned, tucking in my wings and diving after him, snapping my wings open about twenty feet from the ground, drifting the rest of the way. I landed slightly crouched, then straightened up, moving forward to Fang. I paused for a moment, getting my bearings, then inhaled deeply, closing my eyes for a moment. The forest smelled particularly good at night, or maybe that was just the illuminating effect of the moon up above. Either way, it was beautiful. I smiled, then began walking, tucking my wings back into the slits in my jacket, folding them tightly against my spine.

JACOB

I smiled, then unfolded my wings slowly, heading out the door. I flicked my head to the side, moving my hair again, then grinned back at Amy before launching myself into the air, unfurling my wings and pumping them hard to gain altitude. I could feel the feathers already beginning to dry, though that's not where my thoughts were. At the moment, I was thinking of how perfectly Amy's bangs framed her face, and how enthrallingly those same bangs could hide her face in a subtle way. I liked it, and smiled at the thought.

Fang walked alongside Max, tucking his hands in his pockets and folding away his wings. Something fluttered in the branches above their heads and a few locusts buzzed. He heard the sound of a car starting up in the town that was less than half a mile away. "Can you believe all these new avians? Do we even have enough food for all of them?" he said in his usual quiet voice. He shook his head slightly in disbelief.

I sighed softly, running my fingers through my drying hair. "It's insane," I muttered, gently pushing a twig out of my way with a foot. "I really don't know how we'll handle this. They'll probably be really helpful, but...we're gonna leave for California pretty soon, by my guess."

[Nautica]

"I'm sure we'll figure something out," Fang said as they reached the video store that backed up to the forest. He walked up to the door and held it open for Max. The Flock had doubled in size. This definitely wouldn't help them keep a low profile and it definitely wouldn't help with food, especially with how much each of the bird kids ate. It would be extremely difficult, but Max always figured something out.

MAX

I smirked, lightly elbowing Fang as I walked in, glancing back at him. "Always the gentleman," I teased, then looked forward at the rows of movies. "What were you thinking of watching?" I asked curiously, then glanced down at the watch on my wrist. 9:30. We still had a lot of time.

Fang laughed, then followed her inside. Out of habit, he quickly cataloged each of the 5 other customers in the store out of the corners of his eyes. Once he had deemed none of them worthy of posing a threat, he looked at the shelves of movies. He looked through the "New" releases, which were in fact a little dated, but still relatively new.
He held up Shutter Island and raised an eyebrow, then set it back down on the shelf although it was still up for consideration. He kept going down the shelf, his dark hair, dark eyes and dark clothes sticking out in stark contrast with the store beneath the fluorescent lights. "I don't know, I didn't really have a particular movie in mind," he said, looking up at Max, then returning to his search.

I watched him look through the movies, also raising an eyebrow when he held up Shutter Island. I moved to stand next to him, scanning the top row with my raptor vision, then smirking before lifting up Alice in Wonderland. "If Angel new this was here, she would have made us get it," I muttered, then grinned, setting it back up on the shelf. "Shutter Island was supposed to be good, though." I glanced back down at where the movie rested on the shelf, then continued looking again.

Fang looked back as she held up Alice in Wonderland. He agreed with a grin. He didn't really see anything that caught his eye. He saw The Wolfman, but it reminded him of Erasers and just made him want to rip something up, so he passed it. "Alright, should we just get Shutter Island, or do you see something else you like?" he asked, leaning against the shelf and looking at Max.
