What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

++reason for choosing the name++
I would name him scrambled because it is a style of egg and scrambled egg reminds me of breakfast a lot. It just seemed to fit.

Scrambled's favourite breakfast food would have to scrambled eggs and richly buttered toast. He likes the normal fried eggs too. Basically, he loves egg cooked any way but scrambled is the best. Breakfast us his favourite meal of the day and all his meals consist of something with eggs.

What Should this Mutato be Referred to as?
This Mutato would be known as Hans.

Why Was This Name Chosen?
The reason I chose this name, or want to choose this name, for this Mutato isn't because of it meaning something, or because of anything having to do with meaning. In fact, I never really bothered to check if it meant anything. It came to my mind.

However, I believe that the name Hans fits the little guy. I find that a name that fits is better than a name that only connects by it's meaning.

Not to mention Hans sounds really cute <3

What Might This Mutato Love to Eat?
Hans loves to eat. That's not even able to justify how much he enjoys eating. However, even though he loves eating a lot, he doesn't eat unless he needs to. This could be part of the reason why he loves it so much.

If he had to chose a favorite food, though, he would definitely have a hard time choosing one. His opinion on favorite foods changing frequently, never being the same for more than three, maybe four, days.

Hans' mood can cause a change in what he prefers to eat, to top it all off. While he's not one to easily change moods in an instant, it could happen, which could spoil him wanting to eat his food.

He associates his foods, that he eats at the current time, with the events that occur while he's eating. So, for example, if he were to be eating toast, and then he runs into a tree, or something, then he'll have a negative association to toast for a bit.

I'm not sure why I chose this name for her, My dad had suggested Stripes for a name but when I looked at her I thought of toast so thats kinda why she is called that.
