The saddest deaths at the end was Remus and Tonks :'( Remus had never been happy, and then he gets Tonks, and a son, and then he freakin dies...

But he died fighting for what he believed in and for what he loved and also for who he loved. At least he and Tonks are happy now even if they don't get to raise their son.

the deathly hallows [ both the book and the two-parted movie] broke my heart. however they were mostly tears of joy that i shed. so many people died, though, within all of the series. i mourned voldemort's and snape's death the most seeing as they are my favorite characters [ please do not hate me ].

I am reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for the first time, and I just got to the part when they are viewing the memory and started to talk about it. I love this part, it makes the whole series tie together, and makes sense. I always wondered why Voldermort could come back to life when he was already killed.
