When he felt the punch, Ren immediately went into attack mode, but forced it down and rubbed his cheekbone. "holy mother of-" he winced and pretty much accepted the fact Storm was getting payback. Ugrh. Ren could feel a cut, but nothing to serious. "You could be a good dog and join us, or, we could send you out on your own into the forest and let you be lost. your choice, really." ow, god, that dog had a punch.

"Option two sounds pretty good right about now." Muttering a few curses under my breath, I snapped my wings open and was in the air with a powerful downstroke. I was going back to the cave and I was going to cuddle the living hell out of Hiro for at least and hour. Kitty deserved some cuddles today! With that thought in mind I sped up slightly, making it to the cave in a few minutes. Once I landed a devilish grin stretched across my lips, fangs only adding to the effect. "Alright, where's my favorite kitten?!" I knew Hiro didn't like the idea of being my kitten but he was just going to have to deal with it.

When Jinx arrived back at the cave Hiro buried his face in his knees, feeling an odd combination of emotions. He was dreading the inevitable cuddling, but he was anticipating making her feel better so she wouldn't have to cuddle him as much. The air didn't know what to do, so it just alternated between warm and cool wind, not getting too extreme on either temperature. "I'm not a kitten..." he muttered, the sound being muffled by his face in his legs.

My expression softened into a soft smile as I approached him, and sat down. "Ok, not a kitten. Just Hiro." I was being unusually complaint, not even bothering to argue. I was much to emotionally spent to put up with anymore conflict anymore. Normally I would have pulled him into my lap by now but even that had yet to happen because I knew he'd want to get away from me. If he left, I'd probably have a complete meltdown and that had gone oh so nicely the last time. Even if it did happen again, I only had a bunch of rock and dirt to destroy.

Hiro sighed when she didn't immediately grab him and leaned his head against her shoulder lightly, awkwardly ghosting his fingers over her hand before grabbing one of her fingers. The anticipation to get this over with had won and the heat left, leaving a soft cool wind blowing through the cave. That didn't really make sense to him, since sadness meant cold and the dreading he'd felt prior was akin to sadness, but he dismissed it as weird windy powers. "Thanks," he mumbled, fumbling with a small strand of vibrant blue hair.

Storm looked up at Ren. He didn't want to be lost! It was the last thing he wanted! "I-I guess I can stay with you. .. I-if I don't get left behind."

Ren smirked and looked at Storm's hands, which where now free. "We won't leave you. At least, I won't." He paused and figured he should tie his wrists together, just to be on the safe side. Ren was still pressing against the cut on his cheek, just skimming over it. It didn't hurt to bad. "i'm guessing you want to stay here instead of the cave?"

"I'm not going to force you into hours of cuddling if that's not what you want Hiro. There's no need to force this along. I know you're not a big fang of touching people, even if it's me." Yeah today had been a bad day. Whenever I was this nice and willing to not get my way, something was seriously up. Then again, I was probably a lot easier to deal with when I was like this so maybe it wasn't such a bad thing.

"Yea." Storm nodded. He would feel much more comfortable staying far from the flock, but he didn't want to be alone. "Umm, could you- ... never mind."

Hiro snorted and shook his head, "The fact that you just said that means you need to." He looked up at her with a gleam of something in his eyes, though what exactly he couldn't name. Something along the lines of reverence. "I can deal with it if it makes you happy..." he said a bit quieter. He wrapped his arm around hers a bit more confidently.
