Shay had been at the reception hall since three in the morning, and she was cooking all day yesterday. But finally it would pay off because today, she was going to marry the love of her life, the best man on earth, Shadow. This was the day she was dreaming of with her parents since she was little. Shay's parents had died a long time ago, but she loved them very much. They had thought her how to dream, how to laugh, and how to enjoy her life. All of that went away when they died in a horrible storm while on a cruise. She was pushed into a life boat without her parents and cried the whole way as a little boy slightly older than her rowed the boat to safety. His name was Louis, her Man of Honor. But today was about her and the ones she loved, today was her wedding day. Today was the day she would get a new family.
