Origin I was boredly repeatedly clicking "random page" on ZeldaWiki when I came across this. Also, in the final boss battle of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (what he's from), there's a thunderstorm (Lightning Strike FTW! =D), and one of the patterns on this Mutato is a Thunderbird.
Favourite myth He really likes rain, so Thunderbird.

Mutato name: Feniks/Feenix
Reason for name: Feniks is Phoenix in a few different languages. It sounds majestic enough for a thunderbird and a Phoenix, since it sounds like an ancient god. ( don't you think?)
Favorite legend: Phoenix. It stands for beauty. Every 1000 years ( I think) they burst into a pile of flaming ashes. From those ashes hatches a baby Phoenix, which grows its beautiful feathers. The cycle continues on and on. Phoenix's have either rainbow feathers or fiery orange yellow and red ones. Since this isn't a class, I'll stop.

Hello everyone! My name is ShikyoOkami, but my friends just call me Shik.

I was scrolling through the mutatos when this little gem caught my eye.
I would name her Elfydd, which means Element in Welsh. I find the name quite suiting, as she represents both the elements of fire and lightning.
To ask which bird is her favourite, the phoenix or thunderbird, is a difficult question for her to answer. How can you choose which half of yourself you like better? In her case, she would have to choose between the burning intensity of the flames or the strength of lightning. Both elements can be natural or man-made. When one element creates the other, how can you be sure that the two myths, aren't just one, split apart by the written word?
Short and simple, both myths is her favourite, as she is part of them both. Why should she have to choose?

Hi, I'm Cobweb. I've been eyeing this Mutato for a long time already, and finally gave in to temptation. OTL I hope I can win my dream Mutato, and so I'm doing my very best in this form.


I would name this Mutato Rakuen.


Rakuen means 'paradise' in Japanese. A phoenix brings warmth and fire to a world while a thunderbird brings rain and monsoons, sustaining human life. So isn't it a sort of paradise when you have good weather and benefits a lot from it?




Rakuen's favorite legend is the phoenix. Though he admires the thunderbird a lot too, he thinks that fire is more important than rain and storms. Fire keeps us warm, helps us cook food and is the driving force of nature. The fiery sun starts the endless water cycle and is the energy source of every organism.

Okay, I'll stop boring you (ahem) and let's hear Rakuen's opinion.

I seriously admire and want to be like the Phoenix. Don't you think it's cool, being able to control fire and all that? And I could help humans and other creatures too, if I were a phoenix! Phoenixes are wise, immortal birds, rebirthing every five hundred years. Wouldn't it be awesome to know practically everything?

-Thunderbirds are revengeful; provoked thunderbirds are extremely dangerous.
