Cara hugged him back and smiled. "You're welcome, baby."

Hannah's eyes lit up. you can come?! great! meet me by the gates that border our two towns, by the water fountain, she instructed, hopping up excitedly.

Mack put on his hoodie and shoes, then headed out. I'm on my way.

Hannah threw on a sweatshirt and some shoes. She left a note for her grandmother, then walked out. me too. (: see you soon! When she reached their designated meeting place, she waited there patiently.

When she heard a voice behind her, Hannah turned and grinned. "Mack!" She threw her arms around his neck and hugged him happily.

"Your parents let you come?" Hannah asked, pulling away to see him.
