Riley hugged her knees to her chest, pushing her back against the tree, not caring if it scraped her wings. She was just happy that something was there. She thought about leaving again, but shook her head. They'd just lost Storm, and her leaving wouldn't be to good. It might just cause Ren to have an entire emotional break down...

After my little spiel I found myself a spot towards the back of the cave and sat down just thinking about the things I'd said to Storm. Had he been alive he would have made me keep the feathers and the choker but with a bit of insistence and the sad kitty face I would have gotten my way. Yeah. That puppy was a sucker for big teary eyes and droopy ears. A faint smile settled on my lips as nostalgia set in. I was going to miss him so much and it pained me that there was no way to bring him back. Oh well, he had to have died happy at least and it was hopefully a painless passing. A peaceful death was all I wanted for him at this point. No regrets, no unfinished business. Just peace.
