Once I finally got back to our vacant camp it didn't take long for me to find what I was looking for. Shaking my head, I approached Storm's lifeless form and sat in front of him with a bitter smile. "You know, I've always known that dogs usually go off on their own when they're about to die. I guess this makes a lot of sense then. If it makes you feel better though, I'm not mad at you. I should be but, I'm not. Your timing is pretty crappy though. What idiot goes off and dies right after a chick tells him she loves him? I feel kind of stupid now but I don't regret it. You're lucky you're dead otherwise I'd kick your furry tail. Nah. That kiss was pretty great though. I'd like another one but, you know. Anyways, I ought to get going before everyone freaks out, ya know? As much as they complain they can't seem to function without me." Grinning I stretched my wings out plucking two feathers. Both primaries. One white, and one black. It was something I never did because my wings were my pride and joy but for this, I would make an exception. Along with that, I removed my favorite choker and placed it in his hand with a bitter smile. This sucked. After tucking the two feathers behind his ear and pressing a lingering kiss to his forehead, I sighed then took to the skies once again, heading back towards the cave. I definitely needed that.

I walked over to Ren and sat next to him. "Hey Ren. I was kind of thinking. The look is getting kind of big. Maybe it would be easier if I took a few of them off of your hands." I said leanin my head on his shoulder. I was extremely tired and my voice was cracking noticeably. It hurt to talk bu I would be fine.

after she said it, her head on his shoulder felt like fire. just, take off and leave? he understood that they wanted to get away. Let's see, all the people that would leave him at the moment- Ronnie, Riley, Jinx, and Hiro, because he goes wherever Jinx does, Axel, and Xmeria. That'd leave him with what? Nothing. that'd hurt more then ripping off his wings.

Riley slowed when as soon as she got to the end of the vast forest. Dropping into a tree, she sat against the trunk, appreciating the feeling of the rough bark against her back and arms. This was why she left. Drama. And now she was back, and it was happening all over again.

Later I landed at the cave's entrance missimg two large feathers and the choker I wore religiously. I glanced at everyone inside then raised an eyebrow. "Did I miss something?" It looked like I'd missed something but to be honest I didn't really care. I needed to cuddle, cry, and take a nap.
