{Let's Make A Scene
Hello, all. Make_a__Scene here. I have many nicknames, but Scene and Sofa are most common. I'm not too particular, so you may call me whatever trips your trigger.
{Who are you and what credentials do you have that will help me?I am a male college student living in the OC, renting a house with his three best bros. I have been role playing (and writing) since I was 10. (That's twelve whole years!) I started off my role playing experience on a site called Neopets, back before they were owned by Nickelodeon. After that I bounced around a few forums that friends made, as well as an author's forum that had a role playing section for a while. Within that time period I went through several stages of writing. When I was 10 I used chatspeak all over my one-liner posts; I had many, many, mary-sue-type characters, and I was obsessed with making completely unrealistic characters. After that little phase I shifted to the other extreme. Purple prose everywhere. My prose was so purple that it might as well have been violet. Then I started really reading books. And I started reading amateur authors. I discovered that what I was doing was incredibly excruciating to read. So I stopped. I started writing in my own voice. How I would speak if I were the character I was portraying. And by the time I took my first creative writing class in high school, I could recognize things in other people that I myself did (or was still doing). I was always pretty hard on myself when it came to my writing, but I didn't actually start really critiquing myself until I was a junior in high school. I'm capable of writing single posts in the thousands of words range. However, I strongly believe in quality over quantity; there's no need to sacrifice the quality of your post just to meet a word length requirement. Saying what you need to say in as few words as possible is a nice skill to have.{What are your classes?I've been hired to Develop Believable Characters [late teens to thirties], Develop Younger, Out of the Norm Characters, and Critique Work. Please note that I will be offering critique/constructive criticism in all of my classes.{Developing Believable Characters [late teens to thirties]There's nothing wrong with wanting to play a character that has unusual qualities. It doesn't make you or your character a "special snowflake". What it comes down to is if you're being realistic about it. In this course I will help you with all aspects of your character: appearance, personality, history, medical history (including disorders and diseases), and dialogue. {
Students{Developing Younger, Out of the Norm CharactersOne of my biggest pet peeves is when people write younger characters that either sound too mature for their age or too young for their age. This course is designed to find that balance so that you become comfortable playing a character with a difficult age. In addition, I will also help you with all aspects as stated above.{
Students{Critiquing WorkI am always happy to critique work, role playing or otherwise. Please note that my critiques stretch beyond simply editing for proper spelling and grammar (although I will also provide that service, of course). I critique your piece as a whole, including content, themes, vocabulary/word choice, and subtext. I do not sugarcoat my criticisms. I will not, however, completely just rip into your piece and tear you apart, unless, of course, you request this. I always offer up positives along with the negatives, because I know how hard it is to accept a critique when you feel like all of your hard work is just getting beaten into the ground. Please remember that whatever I say in my critique, I am saying to help you grow into a better writer.
[As a side note, I'm a psychology student, so if you have any questions about role playing that are psychologically inclined - mental disorders, child development, drugs and the brain, human social behaviour, etc - feel free to direct them to me.]{
Students
I look forward to teaching you, lovelies.
I do not have writer's block
My writer just hates the clock

❝someday everything will all make perfect sense.
so laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and
keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason❞Hey there, the name is equine. I used to be H o r s e l o v e! You can call me whatever you like though (As long as it's nice :]). I am utterly obsessed with all things equine. Horses are my life and I would be lost without them , I could go on forever but I have a text limit of 1500 characters... Anyway, I love to roleplay and write as well as collect model ponies, edit and take videos, photography, reading and a ton more things you probably don't care about :} If you ever have a roleplay, I'll probably be happy to join so just flick me a message! And yes, I can be literate despite my youngish age. (Not important for you to know though...)

@Rockriver/Glass; I am currently not accepting coding class students just yet due to some real life obstacles.
I will, however, be able to teach them later on.
To Glass -- But for now, I can teach developing characters.
Unless you would prefer n a v y . blue to teach you (which is completely fine ^^).
@TotallyHorseMAD; Hello. c:
It'd be my pleasure to help you out. ^-^
I'm not currently open to teach coding* (sorry, auto-correct misspelled that) classes just yet.
(I'm a little too busy with real life stuff for coding, haha. My apologies)
BUT, I can help you out with developing plots and developing characters.
And after we are finished with that, I'll most likely be able to help you out with coding.
PM me when you get the chance. cx
@mint.; I would love to help you out with some HTML and possibly a little PHP, but right now, life is making it a little hard for me to teach indepth coding classes. D: My apologies.
I'm sure navy would do just fine. cx
