Jasper looked at then, and then at Cara. Then he nodded. "Yeah," he said, and went to get them. He looked at Cara again. "Sorry, but since they can't see each other this is the closest thing to comforting they have."

Cara sighed and nodded. "No, I understand," she said honestly, sitting down on the couch beside Molly. "You guys need to have people to lean on."

Lizzie sighed in relief. "Thank you, Dad!"

"No problem," he said, and kissed her head before looking at Cara. "Thanks for understanding."

Mack grabbed his phone quickly, and texted Hannah. Hey, sweetheart, you doing okay? Call if you need to.

Cara nodded and stood, wrapping her arms around him. "Well if I were without you in a time like this, I'd want my phone back too."

Lizzie grabbed her phone and hurried away to her room, texting Rory immediately. 'hey, are you doing okay?'

Molly took her phone and texted Charlie. 'hey charlie <3 you okay?'

Hannah's phone buzzed in her pocket as she laid on her bed in Nan's house. Papa Joe had been a friend on Nan's, so Nan had locked herself in her room, leaving Hannah alone. Hannah picked up her phone and smiled slightly when she saw it was Mack. 'yeah, i think i'm alright. gran is a bit devastated though. thanks, love. how are you doing?'

Jasper hugged her back, and nodded.

Rory looked at his phone. Yeah, I'm okay. Still a bit upset though, he was a great guy. Are you okay?

Eh, I'll be okay. Charlie responded.

Mack read the text and sighed. I've been better. I only met him a few times but it's still upsetting.

Evan had just put Jas down for a nap, and he sat by Lucy.

Cara rested her head against his chest as they hugged.

yeah, i'm fine. i didn't really know him that well, but i know that he was super sweet. he'll be missed. ): Lizzie replied honestly.

Molly sighed. i wish he hadn't passed.

Hannah nodded, even though he couldn't see her. i feel the same. i wish i'd known him more though; he seemed so lovely.

Lucy was on the couch, just sort of sitting quietly. When Evan sat beside her, she sighed and leaned into him. "Cam must be devastated," she murmured.

Didn't you say you and your brother used to play out by his book shop? Rory asked.

Charlie sighed, wishing he could hug her. Me too, Molly.

Mack sighed. I know, he did. Cam would always go visit him.

Evan nodded, and put his arm around her. "What about you, huh? Are you alright?"

Cara closed her eyes and sighed softly.

yeah, but it was only ever cam that actually talked to him. i only spoke with him a few times, Lizzie replied.

He had to be very important to your brother and his wife. I hope everyone's okay/ Rory told her.

I met him once, he was really nice. He was like you, one of the only people to talk to me for real, you know. It's always sad when you loose someone like that. Charlie told her.

No, not really. The only thing to do when you loose someone is to grieve, and that's what he's doing. Mack replied.

Evan nodded, and kissed her head. "If you're not, just tell me, alright?"

Lizzie sighed. yeah, he was. i think they'll be alright though. besides, alli can't be too upset all the time or it might affect the babies.
