holden paley is a force to be reckoned with. he's rugged and tough and trust me when i say he's seen it all. he's used to war and no peace. he's a soldier who came home from iraq a week before the invasion. holden isn't very good at showing emotion or compassion. it's very hard for him, but there is a good guy beneath all of it. dig.

hudson clement is pugnacious. he is constantly testing the patience level of his peers. he will jeer at you and pick at you because its like he wants you to fight him back, give him that attention. he is excellent with word choice and good at getting under peoples skin. he's a real fighter, he is.

owen weeler is the voice of reason amongst everybody. he is very
open minded and fair, wise and highly against war. hes still
fighting, but he doesn't like it. he's always doing what's right and
because of it, even gail and holden go to him for advice. he's a
genuine person with great perception on everyone's life.
