{Can they use their powers, yet?}
Fang laughed and shook his head, "Yeah right," he said as he passed Jacob to go into the kitchen. He grabbed himself a piece of bacon left over from this morning and headed outside. He needed some fresh air after what had just happened in there with Max. Pretty much everyone had seen that episode and how he'd acted. They'd know something was up. Was it possible that they'd think maybe he was just being nice? I mean, he had known Max for forever. It wasn't like he was just going to shrug and watch. He glanced back at the house. Why did things always have to be so difficult?
He sat down on the edge of the cliff where he and Max had been talking just that morning. It seemed so long ago...
He didn't get to think anymore because just as he was just about to take a bite of his bacon, something wet and warm dropped on his shoulder. Spit. "Hey bird boy, why aren't you in there making out with Max?" growled a familiar voice. That was never a good sign; where there was an Ari, there was always over 20 Erasers nearby.
Fang's body went rigid with anger and surprise. He jumped to his feet and faced Ari with a lethal glare. In reply, Fang threw a punch so quick, it was barely a blur and nearly knocked the Eraser's jaw out of line.
Ari stumbled backward with a hand on his jaw, then he re-focused his gaze on Fang, blood-thirst glinting in his eyes.

Chayse leaned back on the counter and crossed her arms. What was there to do all day when you weren't flying over 3 states per day? With a bored glance, Chayse looked outside, but instead of seeing a beautiful view of the mountainside, she saw Fang and some huge, ugly dog...thing. "What the heck is that thing?" she nearly screamed. She was already running toward the front door, although she didn't have the slightest idea how to fight.
