What are Chameleon dragons?

Chameleon dragons, or CD for short, are a variety of small dragons and have a diet of fruit, nuts and berries. Their most coveted food is Melon, and they will do anything to get it. They can stand up on their hind legs to play and reach taller fruit. Some CD have stronger back legs than others and can walk on them. They cannot fly with their wings, but use them to jump higher. Their colours turn brighter when they're happy, blueish when they're sad, and darker when they're angry.

CD have furry necks to protect them from predators, because although it feels soft, it is extremely thick and hard on the lower layers. Sometimes they will take some of their fur out to put in their nests. They are very social animals and live in Herds, often consisting of 8 Chameleon dragons and one alpha male. They are very friendly and will often run up to humans, in hope of food. They are normally colourful, but sometimes they have dull browns. They never have a black base.

If raised from childhood, they grow up to make excellent pets as well. They communicate in high chirping noises, males having slightly deeper voices.

Why do you want to be an Artist?: First off, I love dragons. I am a sucker for reptiles as well, and I love these lines. I have always wanted an excuse to color them, and why better reason than to be an artist for adoptables made with them?

Why do you want to be an Artist?: I've always drawn in my spare time (traditionally), and since I came here I tested out Oekaki and found it to my liking ;) This species is so cute as well!
