Bail laughed despite herself, but then her perpetual frown was back. "No, you won't," She said, slapping Nicole's hand. "I'll buy it." Before listening for an answer, Bail pulled out her own wallet and said, "One two-scoop cone of cookies and cream," She gave Nicole a look. "And then a two-scoop cone of neopolitan."

Myles looked back down. "Oh... okay." He said. "You.. you're the first person besides my mom that I've talked to in a while." He said quietly.

Paul smiled. "Well, let's go see the man himself, then." He gestured to the stairs. "Lead the way," He said.

Nicole smiled when she heard Bail laugh. She looked at her both curiosity and shock in her eyes. "Hey! I could have covered it," she said watching her. "But thanks, and look if we ever do something again you have to let me pay for it next time," she said. "Do we have a deal?" she asked.

Bail stuck out her tongue. "Fine." She said, but it wasn't really. "Hey! A loud voice said. "Look! The little lesbo found a girlfriend!" Bail flushed, half with anger and half with embarrassment. Just then, the worker handed her the cones and Bail took them handing Nicole's to her. "Here," She said. "Let's go, we can et while we walk." She said, resisting the urge to get up in the guy's face.

Nicole smiled victoriously but it soon faded as she heard the guys comment. For a second she thought he might have been talking to her until she saw Bail's face. She nodded taking her cone as they left. "Hey, guys are total jerks. Don't listen to him," she said seeing that Bail was bothered by it.

Victor hurries down the stairs to the main kitchen which was full of modern and old fashioned cookingwear. The chef himself sits on a mini table. He looks over at Victor and grins, then he sees Paul and grows stern.
