---------- cameron gazed at the screen in front of him, trying not to swear again. his vulgar mouth had a habit of annoying the other ambassadors, and he knew it. the dimenrim placed a clammy hand to his temple while using the other to scroll through data. the most he did was pause when aurora and fynn found another piece of data; all the events aurora were so worried about took place in a pattern; a way he had no idea was possible. cameron tore his gaze away from his ever-important work, and looked to aurora's screen. "it's always that damn boar," he hissed bitterly, already fed up to his eyes with The Hunt and their annoying leader, Addelyn.
---------- cameron pulled an image of exactly where all celestial bodies he was appointed to look out for's changes in orbit occurred. sure enough, after he had completed pinpointing everything, and traced all dots together, there was another boar's head, staring at him with the ugly, beady, eyes. he didn't even bother to sigh or show the others what was going on. all he could do was swing some of the greater changes back into their proper place -- where they belonged. cam was so involved within his work he nearly didn't notice the pesky voices that were saying something like "a Hunter has been here -- or is here". once more, cameron painfully dragged his eyes away from the orbits of the planets and galaxies to cast a cool look at his fellow ambassadors.
---------- "if something's been here," cam began, "then don't you think we'd know. aurora? what do you think? your senses are heightened, after all." he wanted solid evidence from their very own animal-whisperer, who could pick up sounds from miles away. cameron hoped she wouldn't find anything, though, because that would mean another battle he didn't want to fight. all he wanted to do at that moment was fix the orbits, and split up; there was a reason all of them were in the same room staring at connected dots in the shape of boars' heads. and he didn't like the feeling in his gut, telling him it was all because of The Hunt.

Aurora leaned back, overwhelmed as she listened to all this. Her mind could only take so much data and speech at one time, and everybody seemed to be blurting out whatever came to mind. It was hard to focus on one particular life form. She covered her face with her hands, until her attuned hearing picked up Cameron's voice. "If you all would grace my poor ears with silence for a moment, I would be happy to analyze this dimension," she said, voice a bit more clipped than she had meant for it to be. She had an apologetic look on her face as her hands dropped, but she said nothing more.

She closed her eyes to block out any excess light, leaning back and focusing for a sixth, seventh, etc. life form. She blocked the four of them beside her out of her mind, and her mind almost immediately identified two previously unnoticed creatures in the dimension. One, an animal, the other, a seemingly-human creature. "Yep, we have company alright," she said grimly.

♤♠ Fynn looked apologetic as she took a step back from Aurora. Given that her fellow ambassador's senses were very much heightened, it meant that voices or sounds or smells that were in a closer range to her were also much louder than they seemed to a being with standard senses. Her face furrowed into a dark expression when Aurora confirmed that there were, in fact, unidentified beings in the same dimension. Though the Control Room was very much protected, and it was a well known fact that the Hunt did not like water, it was still unnerving for her. As her mood worsened the light in the cave darkened and so did the Stygian dimension's sun. Sometimes she involuntarily meddled with the brightness levels of the sun and moon without meaning to - it was all just according to her mood. "Let's take a vote on what we should do," she suggested. "Those in favor of going out and investigating say 'aye'."

"Aye," Gavin let the word drawl from his mouth, the first sound he'd entered into the concerned pool of expressions for some time. His arms were folded across his chest, his gaze still set on the screens of flashing lights. There was, for once, a genuine reason to be alarmed. If the Hunt had lock and loaded on the ambassadors location then they were in a whole new level of trouble, they'd have to act. "What good has sitting on our backsides ever done?" None. It had never done them any good. Beside which, the very notion of staying here and talking over the predicament bored him. Gavin wasn't the weather-man by accident; he was as changeable and active as it was, staying still wasn't a gift he'd been blessed with. "Time we had us a hunt of our own."

→ Addy smiled. She had given the animal free rein and now it was leading her, her to them. Did they know? Maybe, but she didn't mind, they knew the hunt was back, for her, it felt like a revolution. The Hunt can, and will take control. She grabbed the tufts of brown fur sprouting from her hyena's neck as it jolted forwards, flipping her hair into her face. She flickered her head it slid down back to its position as the animal slowed down to sniff the ground once more. She prepared herself as the animal moved on before whining as it slid nearly over the edge of a tunnel. It was more of a hole to her, like the escape route but a huge drop down, with murky water, or maybe it was just dark, she didn't know. She let go of the tufts of neck-hair, apologising softly in case she hurt the animal.

She moved her hair back into place and quickly brushed the tiny bits of her face, moving closer to the edge. It was a drop, she admitted, but she could take it, but who knows what she found down there. Without her animal, since she could tell from the whine it did not wish to fall, she would be useless. She had grabbed her sword (call her old fashioned) but had forgot the small gun (which hardly anyone knew about), although her aim needed to be improved with it anyways. She checked her belt to feel the scabbard of the sword, she felt safer, but not safe enough to jump. Well, I guess I should bring them out... she muttered

Knock Knock! she yelled down the hole, hunting a small yet evil tone in the end.

"Aye," she agreed lightly, not wanting to sit back and be inactive for much longer. If there was Hunt about, it's not like they would just leave. She leaned back in her chair, thoughtful. There was only one Hunt here, however. Not three. Where were the other two? Just one Hunt and her mount. She grimaced, not liking to think of where the rest of her little team would be. She sighed, glancing at each Ambassador in turn before standing up.

However, her acute sense of hearing was soon disturbed by a voice, bringing her out of all thoughts. "Guys," she said slowly, flinching a little at how her sensitive perception was disturbed by the yelling. "She's outside. She's literally outside the cave. Oh lord does she have to yell?" She cupped her ear, wincing and waiting until it stopped ringing. "You'd think people would get it by now, at least inhuman people... Not human, not human senses." She sighed softly, glancing at each of them in turn. "Let's disregard the vote and go up and see what she wants? How about that? Because I don't really want her coming in here and disturbing our precious equipment." She then slid a ten-inch switchblade into her pocket; Aurora kept it around as a back-up, because her life abilities could only go so far. Sure, she could prod animals and humans in the right direction, but the Hunt were so much harder to control.

It wasn't Gavin's place to sense things, which was fine, it was good, in fact, it only took one glance at Aurora to see how crippling the consequences could be. Gavin would far rather thrash lightening overhead and bring the boiling sores of lava streaming from the earth than he would hear oncoming danger. Still, thank goodness Aurora did have the ability, else they'd never have known of Addelynn's arrival. He has no weapon of his own to draw, but he doesn't need it. The growling hurl of thunder must surely be audible to Aurora's sensitivity, but there's nothing he can do about that, the thunder and lightning are his weapons of choice. A bolt of lightening here, one there, a crack in the earth as it quakes or waves of tumultuous tsunami: nature and its elements are his to command in this way. "And we are all going to climb up there into her waiting jaws? I think not," he sniffs, his lips twisting. He rather enjoyed being able to breathe with his lungs in one peace. "No plan? No battle strategy?"
