I followed behind Storm and Ren as silently as my feet would allow. I don't believe my foot steps could be heard. I stepped gingerly over a twig and continued to stay near the middle of the group.

A sharp coppery scent cut through the almost overwhelming smell of yummy chocolate. Who was bleeding? No one was screaming so it was probably the result of a clumsy flock member.

"Heh." Storm let out a small split second laugh. "Chin up. Maybe some other Eraser will come along and be just as good, if no better." The fact that he could drop dead at any moment kinda scared him, but it also made him want to make sure every word that left his lips was a good one. And the thought of someone else talking his place saddened him, but he was sure that no other eraser would turn against the school.

I twitched my nose at the smell o blood. Because of th white coats I had an amazing super human sense of smell. In fact it was the same with my hearing an such. I could easily identify it as Ren's blood. "Ren, are you okay?" I whisper close o his ear.

Restlessness had long since set in and I really wanted to go do something productive. Patrol could only keep me busy for so long.
