Sognatore let a smile slip onto her face. "Actually, help sounds good right about now," she said with a slight laugh at the end. She nudged a few herbs over to him, now having a reasonable amount to carry. She headed over to her den, and put them on the ground. "Just put them in a pile, I'll organize it later," she shouted from the back of her den. Rummaging around in old herbs she needed to throw away, she found what she was looking for. Picking it up carefully in her jaws, she padded over to Lothair. She dropped it onto the ground, then nudged it towards him. "A little thank you," Sogna said, nudging the tiny gift of a piece of lavender his way.

Dark had dozed off in a dream world for a while, but the sound of Grimshaw closing in with heavy paw steps [or footsteps..] brought him back to reality and he opened his eyes - one good and one opaque - and lifted his head up to look around, but his Alpha was already towering over him which made Dark pull his ears back and dip his head back down to his paws in respect. When Grimshaw said they were going to head out on patrol, Dark lifted his head up slowly and got up, nodding. "Yes, of course..," he mumbled, slowly lifting his ears in a normal position again. He new that Grimshaw wanted to talk about something, and he hoped it wasn't about getting him out of the pack or lowering his rank... Dark pushed those thoughts away and followed his Alpha.

Grimshaw continued to walk through the forest with Dark beside him and eventually after awhile of silent. He started to talk "Sogna said Spirit won't be able to hunt for at least month maybe even a week" Grimshaw flicked his ear and continued down their forest path checking for any signs of Lone or intruder Wolves in their packs Territory "I was already considering putting Lothair as a Hunter but it means I need a Lead Fighter to take Lothair's place" Grimshaw was trying to ask if Dark was interested but he was really good at asking for other Wolves opinions or advice. Although he was used to asking Spirit and Lothair, shaking his head Grimshaw sniffed the area waiting for Dark to speak up. Grimshaw and already decided that Dark was a good choice as Lead Fighter but he was going to ask Spirit or Lothair what they think about it after talking to Dark.

Lothair smile turning into a grin at Sogna's laugh, he picked up the pile of herbs pushed towards him and padded towards her den. Walking inside her den always gave him a chill but Lothair didn't show it, placing down the herbs he waited to see if she needed anymore help before going back to look after Spirit knowing Grimshaw probably went to check the area incase any Wolves are around. Lothair was the only wolf allow in Grimshaw's den when he wasn't around but Lothair was starting to hate being treated like a little brother at the time, flicking his ear he wondered if he would ever see the a lone female black wolf again. He could still see her amazing eyes clearly, shaking his head to clear the thoughts Lothair noticed Sogna nudging a piece of Lavender towards him. Lothair had to blushes at Sogna's words "A little thank you," hardly anyone said thank you when Lothair helped them except Sogna and that Lone Wolf "It was nothing" he bowed his head "But thank you"

Caribou Pack ~ Beta Male ~ With: Aurora & Admiral

Lifting his head up and letting out another long howl calling to the pack, Jericho hoped they would all respond. Watching his sister with concern he went to speak but before he could say what was on his mind, Admiral had joined them. "I think it is time for us to seek out Serenade, Diamond and Magi, we need to go out on a hunt before we run out of daylight." he told him sternly. Jericho kept himself calm and nodded towards the hunting grounds, "Would you mind getting a head start on patrolling he eastern side of the meadow, howl for me and I will meet you there with the others." Jericho spoke with strong dominance, hoping Admiral would listen to his beta and do as he was told, glancing at his sister he waited for Admiral to respond.

Caribou Pack ~ Alpha Female ~ With: Jericho

Watching as Admiral rolled over before walking towards her and her brother, Aurora wondered weather he was serious about helping this pack survive. Trying to push away the doubts and keep herself from presuming foolish thoughts, she greeted him with a nod after his polite "Morning" greeting. She listened as her brother gave the orders, confirming them with a firm nod she said
"Jericho is in lead for now, you must listen to him. I have some business to attend to." she spoke sternly. Still bugged by her thoughts about Tiger Lilly, she was worried she had wondered off and got herself lost or worse hurt.

Diamond perked her ears when she heard Jericho's howl and quickly stood up, hurrying over to him. She then stopped and listened to him speak, already catching up with the fact that they were going out on a hunt. She sat down and patiently waited for her orders, tail lazily sliding over the ground from one side to the other, not really making too much noise or anything.

Dark felt a bit uncomfortable during the long time they spent in silence and tried to shake that feeling off by just simply looking around in case any intruders loner wolves passed by. When he heard Grimshaw speak he looked at him and slightly widened his eyes. "Umm.. Are you asking me if I would like to take the Lead Fighter rank?" he asked slowly in a calm voice. On the inside he was slightly surprised to hear that, Grimshaw never really spoke to him about moving up from his current rank since he knew that it was Dark's favorite to be a Fighter. Personally Dark preferred to stay that way and have others take charge since he himself wasn't good at giving orders... But he would try if that was what his Alpha wanted from him.

Serenade entered the hunting grounds to when he heard a long wolf howl.
Jericho. It must have been to start a hunting party. He quickly padded over,
and sat beside Diamond. Serenade sat silently as he waited for Jericho to
finish speaking with Admiral.

Spirit sighed she flicked her tail in annoyance. The only thing
she wanted to do was impossible at the moment. "Stupid buck!" She grumbled
to herself,"I should have aimed for his side and knocked him over, but no I
just had to leap on his back." Spirit growled in anger,"Err!"

Grimshaw flicked his ear and looked into Dark's eyes for a seconded before continuing to look around their surroundings "I believe your ready to the Lead Fighter" sniffing the air again Grimshaw padded towards an unfamiliar scent. Flicking his ear in concern he looked at it closer and froze at the sight of it, Humans! they never come this far into the forest unless there was a new Human Territory {campsite} he was unaware about. "But of course it's your decision whether you want it or not, because i'm not ordering you to be the Lead Fighter i just giving you the option" Grimshaw finishing talking about the matter as now he was concerned at the scent he had found, "Let me know your decision tomorrow! Now lets figure out way there are Humans are in our Territory?" Grimshaw pushed the piece cloth towards Dark to take the scent before they both decided what to do "There isn't any Human Territory's this far in the forest" flicking his ear with annoyance he hated they don't mark their Territory like they do.

Sogna smiled, but noticed he was sort of... Out of it? She swished her tail and shook her head at his reply. Sitting down at the entrance of her den, she raised an eyebrow. "So who ya thinkin' 'bout?" she asked, tilting her head in his direction. Then she stopped, realizing her question could be intrusive. But what could she do, everybody loves secrets. Sighing, she said, "Nevermind. Don't answer that. Go off and do your honorable lead fighter duties, oh most high king Lothair," she said with a snort. She curled her tail around her paws, looking across camp. Hearing a shout from the alphas den, she barely even looked that way. Poor Spirit. But it didn't sound like a cry due to pain, which was good.

Caribou hunter ~ Content ~ Hunting Grounds ~ With ... ~ No crush, no mate
Admiral nodded, before heading down to the hunting grounds. Putting his sn out to work, he took deep breaths, stopping and huffing every so often to clear his mind of old scents and prepare for new ones. Not scenting too much, he stayed tracking a couple deer he had found. Nothing much, seemed like a doe and her fawn, maybe two does even. But no bucks as far as he could tell. Then, stopping, he lifted his nose, scenting for the other pack. He got nothing new, only old scents, and figured it was safe. He wasnt used to doing it, but it was now his task, and he'd fulfill it. Lifting his muzzle to the air, he let out a strong howl to his pack, alerting them to come and hunt. .

"We will need her help with this hunt." Watching Serenade approach he gave him an update on what was happening. It wasn't long before Admiral let out a howl in call for the pack to join him at the hunting grounds "Well that is our cue to hunt. Follow me." he ordered as he ran off in the direction of Admiral's howl to start their hunt. Hoping Serenade would be close behind him, Jericho hoped they would have a successful hunt today.

As the pack came together, Aurora decided to let her brother take the lead. Leaving him with the pack she wandered off to find Tiger Lilly. Wondering to herself hopefully she is at the river. trying to keep calm she told herself "I know she likes it there. I have to admit it is very peaceful." As she wandered through the forest she sniffed the air and listened to the rustling sounds of the surrounding forest life. Looking up at the sky, she watched as birds flew low, heading west. Not wanting to take her time to refocused and set off towards the river at a quick pace. As she neared the river she called out "Lilly, where are you?" waiting for a respond she close the remaining gap between her and the river side.

Dark listened in silence as Grimshaw spoke, but the humans' scent just kept poking at his brain and it was a terrible distraction until he saw that his Alpha had also noticed it. When Grimshaw said to leave his opinion for the next day, Dark just nodded and lowered his head, sniffing the piece of cloth. He snorted softly and pulled his ears back, lifting his head and perking them again. "I don't think there will be any human territories...," he mumbled and kept looking around, trying hard to take in his surroundings with just one eye. He sniffed the air and slightly bared his teeth. "I think they came to hunt...," he growled low and then looked at Grimshaw.
