Karrie, Shade...I won't let you die today! Ink thought. He struggled out of Karrie's jaws and smashed in to all of the attaking wolves. He dragged Karrie and Shade out of the camp, then ran back in to face the she-wolf who had kidnapped Rekuta and Dew. He snarled and bit her shoulder then ran off to one side of the camp, trying to get her to chase him.

The she-wolf growled and ran after Ink, furious. When she got to where she had last seen him he had already disappeared. "Where are you? Come out, or I'll chase you out!" There was still no reply. "Coward, you're probably shaking like a leaf!"

Ink was underneath her. He grabbed her front leg to flip her over, but she reacted quickly and rolled over to shake him off. She then held him down with a paw and snarled angrily. "You could just fight, but instead you're folding up like a map. Pathetic!"

The she-wolf didn't move when Karrie charged at her. She grinned and bit in to Ink's back, trying to break his spine.
"If this is it, then I sure am glad to have gone down with such a stupid

bastard

as yourself!" Ink growled.
The she-wolf chuckled. "Heh. What do you mean, 'glad to have gone down with a stupid b------?' You'll never kill me!"
Ink used his front paw to claw furiously at the female then managed to cut her throat open. She screamed and stumbled backward, at the same time breaking the pup's spine...

Dew pricked her ear at the scream and trembled fearfully. She whined and leaned into Retuka.

Karrie managed to get Ink away from the female. She looked at his spine in horror. "Oh, no..."

Codak woke. Where was he? Why was he on the leaders territory? Why did he have so many wounds?

"K-Karrie...I...I'm sorry..." Ink weakly whispered to Karrie.

Suddenly he smelled blood. Someone needed his help. He sped away, almost tripping over Karrie when he stopped.

Shade realized something. I'm not going to die. Not without taking that bitch down with me! With a mighty roar, he jumped to his feet, sending the wolves flying.

"S-Shade...Where's Shade?" Ink asked quietly. He tried to lift his head, but he couldn't.
