Poppy bit her lip and got to her feet. "Everything's fine. Just . . . come over, okay?" she exited her bedroom and went back downstairs, waiting for Skylar's answer.

Beeyonca's smile faded as she squeezed his hand. What was he going to tell her? She hoped it wouldn't be bad news or anything. "Um, okay," she murmured.

Luke started a little nervous, "Well, I joined the army" he said straight. He didn't want to give a whole long speech and not get anywhere, so he just threw it out there.

Beeyonca blinked, carefully taking the information in. He joined the army, she thought silently. Well, it wasn't exactly a bad thing, it was pretty good, but... She wasn't sure how to react. "Oh," she said.

Beeyonca inhaled a large amount of air and slowly let it out. "It's alright," she whispered in a tiny voice. Her turquoise gaze traveled up to Luke's brown eyes. "Are you going to be stationed somewhere?" she asked. How will I cope without him? a voice screamed in her head.

Luke shrugged, "Yes, I will go to a month of training in California and then um...over seas" he told her watching her beautiful eyes.
