Sahara turned and grabbed Amsterdam by the scruff. She pulled him up and then Diesel. Not waiting for thanks, she turned back to continue their journey. Shaking herself, the tears stopped and her hard outer-shell returned.

Amsterdam didn't get a chance to meow, "Hey, thanks!" before Sahara turned away and started walking again. He dimly noted in the back of his mind that the tears had stopped, but he didn't worry about it and instead just kept walking with her and Sparrow. Diesel followed at the back of the group, seemingly lost in thought.

Looks: I'll find one in the morning....
Personality: Tanner is the leader of his two brothers, he's the bossy one. Whenever they were younger and they hung around their two sisters, he would be the one teasing them and he enjoyed it. He may seem cruel and unkind, but he has a heart that needs someone very special to find it.
Other: His two brothers are Jako and Juli and his sisters are Sahara and Nala.

Gender: male
Age: 4 years
Looks: I'll find one in the morning.
Personality: Jako always followed his brother, Tanner, and did what his brother did. He gets lost if he doesn't have someone to follow, though he would never follow his sisters or any females. He is still trying to build up his confidence, but wouldn't hurt anyone delibrately (not even his sisters).

Gender: male
Age: 4 years
Looks: I'll find one in the morning.
Personality: Juli is the loud one, and is constantly fighting Tanner for the leadership of their little group. He has a clever mind, but never agreed to teasing his sisters. He is strong-willed, and often gets his way. The only thing he never got was the leadership, and he's working on it.

Diesel gasped as Sahara pulled the tiny tom and her up from the side of the building. She sat and panted for a moment, wanting to say thanks, but she had already walked away. Diesel realized that the others were already going, and she heaved herself up and tudged along the back, wondering why Sahara was so....cold? she thought. She trailed behind everyone else, energy drained from her near fall. Her tail drooped, her paws dragged with each step and her normally bright golden eyes were dull as she tried to keep up with the others.

Amsterdam padded along after Sahara, but soon got tired and dropped to the back, quite near to where Diesel was, actually. "Hey!" he whispered. "So.... How are ya doing?"

Sparrow jumped at the sound of a panicked voice. Just as he turned around to help, he saw Sahara give a hand. His fur flattened, and his eyes calmed. He looked at Diesel, saying a quick, "Are you okay?" He glanced at Sahara. He, too, wondered why she had a hard side to everything. Brushing aside the fact, he turned to Amsterdam. "That was brave!" He purred, flicking him with the tip of his tail. He, too, dropped back with Diesel and Amsterdam, nodding inn agreement with the young tom's question.

"Th-Th-Thanks," Amsterdam whispered back. "I-I tried to save her.... Anyways. Why do you think that Sahara is always so... cold? And hard-shelled to everything that goes on? Why does she always go through life so stonily when she's clearly hurting?" he murmured. "If I was in that much pain or heartache, I'd probably tell some other cat right away!" Amsterdam exclaimed. He realized he'd been too loud, so he simply murmured, "Sorry," and then looked back to Sparrow for a response. What was the tom going to say back to him?

Sahara turned back sharply, she had obviously heard what Amsterdam had said. "You want to know why I'm like how I am?" She hissed, walking right up to the tom. "Try losing all three of your brothers to humans. Try watching your parents die. And then try watching your sister betray you. Then you will know what I feel, and know why I don't let others see into my past."
"Awww. So sweet of you Sahara." A male voice said from behind her, laughing slightly.
"Yeh, so sweet!" Another male voice echoed.
Then she heard a sigh. "We could have just said hi." She heard a tom mutter.
Turning slowly, she glared at the three toms.

Diesel looked over at the tiny tom, then at Sparrow. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said, answering both. She cringed slightly when Sahara hissed at the tom, eyes down. Diesel pricked her ears when she heard the voices of three toms infront of them. She stopped walking, tailwavering slightly. Were they going to attack us? she wondered, claws out but shaking.

Amsterdam's eyes widened, and his tail stuck straight out behind him, fluffing up and moving as if it had a mind of its own. He wanted to say something like, "Sorry, Sahara," but all that came out was a squeak.
"Y-Y-Ye--"
Suddenly, three toms emerged behind Sahara. Amsterdam got even more scared. I just hope that they won't attack us! he thought, his ears back flat.
