"Guys, just shut up," she sighed, a frustrated tone in her voice. "I know you guys don't really like each other - I really do - but if we wanna get through this case quickly, you have to stop being *ssholes." Sam pushed way from the desk she was sitting at, looking around. "Obviously everyone's a little worked out. We can just get some sleep and continue tomorrow." She spun around on her chair in silence, leaning on the palm of her hand.

I called a babysitter and when she got here I went out and walked to the station, I was to lazy to drive.
As I was walking I saw another oragami dog.

Norman got up. "Are you sure? You look pretty tired."

Carter rolled his eyes. "The lady has spoken, Jayden."

With a turn of his head, Norman glared at Blake without saying anything. He then turned to Sam. "If that's what you want." He smiled. "Um...just call me..whenever you want to start, ok? Good night." Norman looked over at Blake and grabbed his arm to drag him over to the corner. "Look!" Jayden whispered. "I know...we don't have the best...'partnership', but to get through this case, and for Sam's sake," he pointed over to her, "we need to pull ourselves together. Deal?"

Carter rolled his eyes. "I would rather be bitten by an alligator." He pushed away from Jayden, and left Norman standing there.

"Fine..." Norman said good night and good bye to Sam, and walked to push through the door. Before he could get out of the building, a familiar face walked in. "Ethan! Funny seeing you here at this time of night." Norman smiled. "What are doing here?" Norman then caught a glimpse of something. "What's that in your hand?"

Sam kind of stumbled over the other end of the room and crashed out on the uncomfortable office couch. It was cold and she couldn't help herself shivering, but it was better than falling asleep at her rigid desk. Her hair wrapped around her shoulders and face, that gave off some kind of comfort and warmth.

Zayden had eventually went back to reading his book, although he was too distracted by his own thoughts to even know what he was reading. He noticed another person come in, but didn't really take in their appearance. He then noticed something on the floor; they probably dropped a dollar or something. He'd point it out when they came to pay for their stuff. However, when the person didn't buy anything and simply left the shop(probably just had to use the bathroom), he forgot all about the item on the floor. About a hour or so later, when he was completely bored of the book, he sat it down and saw the thing the person dropped once again before realizing it was no dollar. It was an origami; a bird. He rolled his eyes. Usually he would dismiss something like this, but honestly, he found one the other day and no one just drops origamis around for fun. Especially after what had happened before. He was bored anyway, so he picked up the small paper bird and closed the shop for the night(probably much to his boss' disappointment, but he didn't care) and headed towards the station.

Norman look at Ethan and waited for him to answer when he saw the door open behind him. Norman smiled. "Zayden!"

Carter shot up from his desk. "Zayden? Hendrix?" He took a good look at the man and then turned his head angrily to Norman. "Jayden!" He growled.

Norman ignored Carter and smiled. "What are you doin' here? Anything wrong?"

(( Ha, ha. Their names are similar! ))

"Carter, shhh," she muttered tiredly, not very loud either. Sam kicked off her shoes and tossed the other way, curling up slightly with an inaudible murmur. She was trying to get comfortable when someone jabbed into her side. Too tired to see what it was, her heavy eyelids managed to fall close.

Zayden leaned against the doorframe, not even glancing at Carter when he yelled. Boy, he must be a joy to work with he thought to himself before shaking his thoughts away. He shrugged. "Hi, Norman. I suppose." he said, digging around in his hoodie pocket for a minute before pulling out an origami. "Someone dropped this in the store; I didn't get a good look at them. I wouldn't think this was weird if I didn't find one just like it not far from my apartment the other day." he explained, eyes unblinking.

"What's this?" Silently, Norman picked up the small bird. "Origami..." He held it up to the light to examine it closer. "Hm? You said you found another one? That's odd...worth investigating..."

Carter looked over at Sam and whispered, " Hey, wake up...wake up!" He poked her, and then sighed. "She's out of it...I guess I'll go over there." Blake walked up to Norman. "What seems to be the problem?"

Norman heard Carter moan. "No, it's not! They just probably dropped it."

Jayden turned around. "Uh-huh. Well, I think it's worth a look." He smirked.

Sam groaned louder as the jabbing in her side became more irritating. She sat up and looked at what she'd lay on. Her breath caught in her throat as a origami lizard figure was found. She shook her head, picking it up and examining it. Maybe someone in the office just left it lying around? She decided to ask Carter or something so sleepily trailed outside to see a group of familiar faces. "W-what are you guys doing here?" she asked with a small yawn. Sam held up her origami lizard. "I found this when I was sleeping. Any ideas how it got there?" she asked, tying her hair in a messy bun to get it out her face.
