I actually have a list of my top 5 favorite Pokemon. :)

5: Pikachu: Pikachu was the first Pokemon I ever drew and the Pokemon my friend introduced me to all those years ago to get me to watch Pokemon. When I watched an episode on tv, I fell in love with his character and how adorable he was, especially his love of ketchup. A few years later, I got a talking Pikachu plushie but I had to throw it out because the one night I let my brother play with it he got sick and threw up all over it. Pikachu has a special place in my heart, even if I never really used him in the games I could always watch him in the anime.

4: Dragonite: Back when I first got LeafGreen, I caught a Dratini. I migrated that Dratini to my Diamond, traded him around to my HeartGold to evolve into a Dragonair before trading back and spending weeks trying to get him to a Dragonite. I'd had that Dragonair for years, since I was a little kid and I'll never forget that moment of pride and excitement when he finally evolved in a Dragonite. I caught that Dratini in the Safari Zone, and if memory serves me correctly it was my first Dragon Type.

3: Nidoqueen: Once again, we're going back to LeafGreen. I was wandering around the Safari Zone, when I stumbled across a wild Kangashkan. To my surprise, it was a Shiny! I was so excited and tried catching it for about an hour, but when it finally looked like I'd caught it it ran away. I was crushed, my first Shiny and I didn't catch it. I decided to leave the Safari Zone, but as I was walking back I stumbled across a Shiny female Nidoran! I was down to my last Safari Ball, and I managed to catch it! Nidoran was my first Shiny and I was so proud of myself. She was one of the Pokemon I migrated to Diamond and now she's a Nidoqueen. I'll never forget how I started screaming in excitement when I found her and I'll never forget how I screamed again when I caught her. Since then, Nidoqueen has been one of my favorites.

2: Charizard: When I got LeafGreen, I kept restarting the game. But one time, I decided to try and play through it instead of giving up and going back for a stronger Pokemon. I chose Charmander as my starter, and played through the game with him. Charmander grew on me during that, then Charmeleon and finally Charizard. Heck, outside of the game I started calling him Char! When I finally defeated the Elite 4 and my rival, I was very proud of myself and Charizard. But I thought there was nothing else to do in the game, so I decided to restart. But before I did, I went to Lavender Town and made my own part of the story. When my parents asked what I was doing, I told them I was making my own part of the story. So in the Pokemon graveyard, I lay my Charizard to rest before restarting the game. Why I did that? I think I wanted to show that I cared deeply for my Charizard and didn't just want to leave him without a significant memory. I loved my Charizard, I always will and I'll never forget my pretend funeral for my loyal partner.

1: Raikou: Before I erased LeafGreen, I stumbled across Raikou just outside of Pallet Town! Of course, I still wasn't familiar with Gen. 2, so I didn't know it was a legendary at the time. When I tried to catch it, it never ran away. But because my Charizard was level 98, I killed it in a couple hits. A few years ago, I searched up why Raikou appeared in my game and was very surprised to learn that it's only supposed to appear when you have Squirtle as your starter! That Raikou was a mistake, and my child mind invented the theory that Raikou wanted to see me. Even now I still cling a bit to that belief, but not as much as I used to. But learning that Raikou was not meant to appear made me think that somehow I was special to the Pokemon in the game, even the wild ones that I'd never come across. I should've seen Suicune, but instead my game made a mistake and gave me Raikou. Ever since that day, I've always loved Raikou more than the other Legendary Dogs. While Entei and Suicune are pretty awesome, they didn't defy the laws of the game.

And those are my favorite Pokemon. :)

Dragonite isn't unpopular. It's... In the middle of the popular stair. Not as hated as, I dunno, Bellsprout? But not as famous as Arceus or Bidoof.

But just for the name, you can guess what will be the majority of the pokémon in it. The majority of the Dragon-types look like Dragons, and the majority of the Ghost types are or look like ghosts.

What amazes me is Charizard is one of the most popular pokémon, but it isn't very used in 5th generation battles. What I see in 5th generation battles is-
Darkray
Dialga
Palkia
Giratina
Other Legendaries.
And Arceus.
It can be God and all that, but it can be beaten by a level 1 Smeagle.

Not to sound rude, but that seems a bit harsh. Some people are worried about what a new type will be like, and they're allowed to be.

Mmmm, I see enyo's point. Being worried and outright hating something before you know everything about it is two different things. I'm not going to go into detail at defending that because the reasons are too dark for this forum. She isn't saying you can't hate the fairy type. She is just asking for you to hold off until you know everything about the new type before you say "fairies suck". I'm sure the same thing happened when dark and steel types were introduced and now everybody likes them but hey "Haters gonna hate". I mostly have a let live attitude except when I'm in a really bad mood so that is all I'm going to say on the matter.

I don't really like Marill and Gardevoir - no specific reason. I don't hate them, but I don't want to have them in my main team. Don't care if they are fairies or not. I like Jigglypuff, though - it's funny in the anime XD and the Wigglytuff in Mystery Dungeon is nice^^.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

I don't mean hate (Google translator= causing discussions due to errors). It's just I'm not sure if I won't be disappointed by the fairy type, so I hold my expectatives low. I will try to keep an open mind, as most of the new pokémon I like their looks and their abilities seem rather interesting.

The anime Jigglypuff was really cool. I remember that ad on Cartoon Network with Batman singing the Jigglypuff Lullaby to Robin, it was rather funny.

I haven't played Pokémon Tower Defense as I am not good at tower defense.
