As a creature of the night, the Hounds have a great eye sight. They have their Name from their appeareance; a flaming tail. Although they are called 'Flame Tail' Hounds, they also have Flames from the neck to tail end and on the feet. The cubs are, when born, first developing the flames on the tail. Some Flames are floating around the creature as well, mostly at the tail end. The creature itself has the hight of a big dog.
The fur is rather long on the first half of the body, towards the tail it is shorter. Fur color and markings can come in various combinations. The Flames on the body are radiating light and heat, it holds them warm in cold days. Towards befriended creatures and persons, they can cool the flame down and can be touched without burning the other.
