Shiya let her eyes close halfway as the sun dipped below the horizon and the colors in the sky darkened and faded.

Sev watched as the sky was reprinted, then as the color drained into much darker tones, until the sky was a black expanse dotted with hundreds of stars, and one crescent moon.
