I've gotten two banners so far and gotten a rat plushie and a blue flower. Hoping for some banner pets. And the Nightmares are awesome!

I think so. I usually go to my pets and just go page by page in a group, and eventually I find a banner.

Yes, they do. Though I usually open a bunch of new tabs. xD

Yes, but it causes lag. According to a general helper, (I think) it's easier on the server to just put up a bunch of tabs then refresh 40 times.
