You guys are so lucky that you have an archery place nearby where you can practice! I have a nice target range set up in my backyard, but I feel like I'm drawing back the string wrong because it always end up hitting my arm when I release, which really hurts.I want to find somewhere where I can learn and get better, but the nearest place is 45 minutes away.
I know how to fix this. c: try a less tight grip on the bow. That way your elbow will be further from the string and your arm won't get hit. My archery instructor taught me this, hehe. If you don't have an armguard, you should also try and purchase one.
I'm being a huge hypocrite because I never wear mine |D

Yesterday I got a bow and arrow for my birthday.
My uncle is going to teach me how to use it soon. c:
I've always been interested in archery,
and for a long time I've wanted to learn it. <3
