Ace nodded as a response, "He wasn't happy about me not mentioning my grades so he went on the school marking system." he winced "He made me go in advanced maths and he wasn't all to happy when I signed up for the more average class" he didn't want to mention how strict he had been about what bird courses he was to take and just how badly Ace had disobeyed on that one front.

"Oh Ace" Serena frowned deeply. "My dad didn't have an intention for it to bad. He's honestly just very proud of you" she admitted, eyes sad. She averted her eyes to the ground and then back up at him. She decided the best way to make him feel better was to merely avoid the conversation. "Um" she licked her lips "wanna walk with me to advisory?" she asked quietly. "We talk in there since we don't do much" she shrugged slightly.
In that moment, Serena inviting him to walk with her, she was doing something out of the ordinary. She was the in crowd while Ace was not. Who knew, Serena could possibly be the one who would defy the popular crowd, being the most popular girl in their school.

"oh" Serena blinked a couple times. "Well I guess thats not that bad" she tried to lighten. Serena thought about her father for a moment. Her father was a single father, her mother having got up and left when she was about 8. Though when she left Serena hadn't felt horrible, seeing as her mother had been a major alcoholic and had never really been a mother to them. In a way, this is why Serena felt a slight connection to Ace. Of course, her mother had left and her father loved her and her brother Alexander to death and would move heaven and earth for them.

"I didn't know you were into photography" She smiled slightly with a tilt of her head. She looked at his hand for a moment but looked back up at his eyes. "I thought you were all bad boy" she laughed and nudged his shoulder slightly with her own. Her eyes shimmered with the sun shimmering in through the window. "I'm part of the photography club!" she beamed. "I'll go with you!" suddenly a thought dawned on her. Was he trying to get away from her. "Well, i mean that is if you want me to. I don't want you to overwhelmed with me" she said "cause I know I can be overwhelming"

Ace laughed "No, your not overwheming me." he grinned "You did meet Bonnie last night right?" he added. "I thought you needed to be at leadership, aren't you kind of their leader?" he pointed out, "They might be lost with out you to guide them" he added, joking.

"your right, I'm normally all bad boy at school but I need to find some excuse to stay after school and I do enjoy photography" he explained "there's a fair few thngs about me that you don't know yet" he added, smiling again.

"ya but she's like 12" she stuck her tongue out at him, giggling happily. She then shrugged in response. "ya but I can just pop my head in. Hopefully they'll be alright since it is suppose to be leadership club where they...lead" she smiled widely and fixed the scarf again, hiding the dark bruises around her neck.
"Well if you ever need somewhere to go, My house is always open" she winked and then nodded. "So then, want to head down to phtography club now and on the way you can explain to me some more things I dont know about you?" she asked, almost bouncing. She honestly hadn't realized that Ace was one of those boys that was into things like photography, but sadly hid it. If a boy did photography she couldn't help but feel slightly attracted to them. She'd look at them like Peter Parker. Yes, she was a marvel nerd.

Ace chuckled and offered her one of his arms "twenty questions then" he suggested, the leadership room was on the way down to the class room that the photography club used if they took the long way and he had a feeling that Serena would enjoy that. "Would you like to start with the questions or would you rather i did?" he asked.

He quickly begain to run over easy questions in his mind, some how do you have any pets didn't seem like the right thing to ask her, far from it in fact. He hid a smile as he realized where he should start, there a few things he could bet she had dopne when she was a bit younger.

"Sounds good to me!" Serena bubbled as she looped her arm around his arm. She looked down the hall, noticing that the leadership room had a couple ways to go. There was a scenic route or a quick way. She chewed on her lip slightly and then looked up at him, almost praying that he would take the scenic route because she wanted to spend a little bit more time with him before all their classes started. This was their free period anyways. Times for clubs and things. She also didn't share any classes with Ace seeing as she was only a Sophmore and he was a Junior. So, this time alone with him seemed like a treat.
"I guess I'll start off" she smiled and quickly ran through some quick questions in her head. In her slight concentration, she chewed on her lip slightly. It was a cute habit she had.
"What's your favorite sport?" she asked, looking up at him with a sweet smile. She tilted her head slightly to the side, blonde locks falling into her face and she with a sweep of her hand, brushed the locks behind her ear.

Cheyanne walked a bit closer to Shadow before he got out of his car and walked towards her. When he asked her if she was okay she shook her head and felt a few stray tears roll down her cheeks. "I know you'll probably hate me for this but Josh got bit by a car when he was riding his bike and he texted me saying he needed help, and I knew you would've been mad if I told you about it so I told you my dad needed me home. I got home and took one of my dad's cars and drove out to where Josh was and tried to help him but Juliet was trying to convince him to go practice with the band then Matty showed up and now Josh is going to practice with his band instead of getting his head wound checked out and I got really mad. I drove until I couldn't see anymore because of tears then I managed to get home and called you," she said pretty fast and braced herself for Shadow's yelling and anger. Her body tensed and she closed her eyes, looking down and waiting for either a verbal or physical blow like she was used to getting from her father. She feared that this would make their relationship crumble and he would hate her for lying to him and going to help Josh on that lie.
