"Good idea, I agree" Remus said with another nod, turning to go. He looked right into eight pares of round, red eyes. He swallowed deeply and took a step back from the giant spider, pulling Violet with him. Remus found himself clutching his wand tightly in his left arm and took a deep breath. "Don't. Move" He said softly, pointing the wand at the spider, who was clicking his pinchers dangerously. The eight, hairy legs took quick steps towards the two Proffesors.

Violet stared at the spider in slight fear.

Remus pointed his wand between the spider's many eyes and muttered Reducto. The spell blasted the spider away a few feet and Remus grabbed Violet's hand, running for their lives. Soon he heard the dangerous clicking behind them and he cursed Hagrid for his love of creepy creatures.

Violet pulled her hand loose from Remus and turned to look at the spider right in the eye, er, eyes.

"Violet?! It is going to kill you alive!" Remus said, looking aghast. He reached for her hand again, wanting to pull her away from the danger.

"You forgot something Remus." Violet said, looking at him with a small smile. "You can't kill someone who is already dead." she said, looking back at the spider and reaching out a hand.

Remus rolled his eyes "Yes, that is true" He admitted. "But it can eat you, rip you to pieces" He added, still holding his wand in his arm, though it was now clenched to his side.
