➸ I was asleep still. I never really noticed that Kat had left the cave, well until i woke up that is. I stood up and stretched, letting my shoulders crack and a yawn escape my jaws. Giving myself and my fur a good shake, I walked towards the entrance to the cave. I noticed that Kat had left, I wasn't all that worried, but then again I was. I trotted out of the cave and into the woods. Yeah, a big furry wolf walking around the forest, not suspicious at all. I stopped, picking up her scent. It was mixed with both hers, and someothers. Ones I didn't know. The last thing I knew, I was running towards her, faster than I thought I could go, I felt like I was flying through the forest. I jumped off a rock and landed with a thud inbetween both Kat and the newcomers. I was just a little taller than her hip, my thicker fur and bigger body, giving off a more ''powerful'' appearance. I was snarling now, and Yes the usual. My body pushing against hers, trying to get her to move. And yes, baring my fangs at the people, canines and all. My only instinct right now was to protect. And right now, as of now, Kat was mine to protect. I hate to be the ''big bad wolf'' but right now, I didn't seem to have any other choice. Half of me was saying to chill out. My other half... well... was saying to rip them open, make sure they don't harm her. Right now, I didn't know which way to lean/ go.

I stood there staring at people, as they stared back at me. Both of us, seem like we don't believe whats in front of me. I tilted my head to the side, but stumble back with a gasp as Luka came out of no where. The people raised their weapons I hadn't even of noticed, and they aimed them at Luka. I rested my hand on his back and looked down at him. I bent down on my knees. "Luka, calm down. Maybe they can help us. Just chill, alright?" I said softly. I rested my hand on the top of his head scratching behind his ear. I wanted to find out more about these people, but I couldn't do that if they where dead. Or we were never to see them again. I licked my lips glancing over at the two people. Before looking back at Luka. I ran my hands softly over his head, making him look at me. I bit my lip as smiled at him slightly.

I stare at the people, I snarled again before I quieted down. When she scratched behind my ear, I layed down at her feet. I stared up at her, before relaxing. It was a big change really. Snarling to silence? Yeah, big change. Almost obidiently, I calmed doown, finally agreeing that i needed to calm down before they were killed. I resisted the urged to shift, I just couldn't do it. If people found out, i'd be worth millions and scientists from around the world, would come and try to ''crack my code'' so to speak. I yawned and watched the people, with a lazy look in my eyes. I couldn't help but wag my tail. Hey, first impressions start of badly for me, so why not make it up?

I smiled at Luka and just for effect I said, "good boy." And scratched behind his ear kissing the top of of his head. I looked up at the people, "can you speak? English, anything?" I said. I was still positioned behind and to the side a bit of luka. I had my head tilted to the side as I watched them. One of them seemed to be a teenager around mine, and luka' s age. And the other looked like an older replica of him. I scooted a bit closer to Luka wrapping my arms around his neck, as the two continued to gaze at me. Pale like they had seen a ghost. "Y-" the boys voice had started out scratchy and high. So he stopped and cleared his throat. "Yeah, we can..... it's just, we haven't seen another person in so long. And we don't talk much around here" the boy muttered.

My ears pricked. 'Interesting..' I thought watching the boy speak. I completely ignored the praise Kat had given me just minuets before. It was hard as it is. I stood up, shaking my fur out. I yawned, before sitting again, wagging my tail. I was like a dog, a big, not so friendly, carnivorious dog. Smart way to put it right? I was itching to shift, but I kept myself content by scratching my ear with my hint leg. It felt nice, for once. I had gained complete interest in the boys. Mainly because of how..worn they looked. I yawned again, before letting a growl slip past. I let it go, and layed down again, counting down the time it would take for me to lose it and shift back.

"How long have you been on this island?" I asked. I was interested, and I wanted to know everything. I just didn't like how they where looking at me. I understood the fact that they've been on this island forever. And seeing a female again, hormones kicked in. But I just wished they'll quite staring at me that way. "We've been on this island, for a good two or three years now" he said. I sighed biting my lip. And glanced around, "oh well..... um, I'm going to go. Come on luka, I'm sure we'll bump into each other sometime soon." I said standing up before quickly walking away. I relieved and a bit better, not having their eyes on me. It was like they were eye raping me. I ran my hand threw my hair and sighed..

I shot up. Turning I followed Kat. Once I was out of view, I shifted back. ''Awww.. someone afraid of them?'' I asked, mocking her just a little. I was relieved and a bit agitated. I was hoping we could have stayed longer, but... Yeah... I didn't like the feeling I was getting from Kat. I walked beside her, I stopped and watched something infront of me, as it moved. I growled and started to move infront of kat again, in a protective position.

I looked at Luka, with a glare. "No, I didn't like how they were looking at me. Practically eye raping me" I said crossing my arms. I looked over at Luka, and sighed. My eyes widened slightly as he stepped in front of me. I rested my hands on his arm, and the other on his back as I stepped closer to him. Peering over his shoulder slightly, as I stood behind him. I glanced around for a moment, before looking back to where the rustling noise was coming from.

➸ I smirked at what she had said. When another twig snapped, my growl became deeper, more threatening. I watched as the figure moved closer, the closer it got, the more threatening the growl, and the more I moved infront of Kat. Ok. I'm a little protective! I don't want anybody hurt alright? Alright. I watched as a massive paw stepped out infront of of us. I noticed another paw come out, it reminded me of the thing that I had battled and days before. I watched as it emerged, large shoulders and paws, capeable of inflicting heavy damage. And possibly able to break bone. I watched it, a little bit of fear creeping into my head. It growled, and I growled back. This massive beast resembled a bear, a large... possibly 500-700 pound bear. Against what may seem like a 150 pound wolf. Not good, and the odds... are most definetly NOT in my favor.

It stood on It's two hind legs, raising a paw and carefully aiming for me. It's paw came crashing down, I only had time to shove Kat out of the way, when the razor-like claws of the beast hit me in the chest. The wind was immediatly knocked outta me. The impact left a nasty gash across my chest, and had sent me flying. My body landed on the ground with a hard thud. I was bleeding heavily from the wound, I was alive, in pain, but alive. As the thing moved to strike Kat, I tried to stand up. Only to be hit again in the chest by one of the creatures massive paws. I crashed into some nearby bushes, thorn bushes. I cried out in complete agony. I think the bear like creature did manage to break bone, ribs possibly in this case senario. My vision was tunneling, darkeness was starting to take hold. Besides my body screaming to shift and save her, I could only think about one thing.

I was going to lose her. ''Kat..'' i managed to say through a mouthful of blood. The blood from my nose and mouth, were starting to affect my breathing. I coughed before giving up. My body went limp, my eyes closed, and I seemed to have stopped breathing. All I could say was, I was caught between life and death right now. And losing Kat.. wasn't an option I wanted to take nor I could afford.

((This good for drama? XD. Although, I wasn't trying to make it like that.... XD
