Serena had been at school for a little while. Her father being an only father and working at the school had to get her sister to school and then bring Serena with him to get to school for 7:30. She was sitting quietly with a book in her lap.Though the roar of school soon woke her up and she blinked a couple times, throwing her book into her bag. She dusted off her black blouse, fixed her pink blazer and put her hidden heal shoes on again. On the floor where she had been sitting was a scarf. She picked it up, wrapping it around her neck to hide the large hickeys she had gained the night before with Ace.

Serena left the library and headed off towards her locker which happened to be off to the side and not in the middle of all the chaos. She chewed on her cheek, opening her locker quietly. She breathed in and looked at herself in the mirror that she kept hanging in her locker. Her makeup was done up perfectly, her hair done in one fishtail braid down her back. So what was wrong?

She closed her locker and went to go turn, grasping her books against her chest, but the moment she turned, she ran headlong into Ace. their lockers, happening to be two away from the others. "oh!" she exclaimed and looked up to find he was wearing a hat that caused a shadow on her face and she couldn't see him completely. "Ace!" she smiled, adjusting her scarf again. "I didn't see you there" she shook her head with a slight shrug

Ace returned her smile "Well you were a busy" he said, he hadn't realized how close their lockkers were but heen again he didn't have a reason to before. "Nice scarf" he added, his smile turning a little bit cheeky, he was sure he knew why she wa wearing one. "Maybe if it was less shear it would work a little better" he added, his tone gently teasing.

Serena looked up at him and shrugged "just...books" a small bubble of laughter happened. Her cheeks turned a lovely pink tint. "Ya thanks" she rolled her eyes, tugging on it slightly so that the hickey was perfectly seen in the dim lighting of the hallway. "You gave it to me" she winked. He continued and she looked down at the fabric of the scarf almost instantly and then back up at him. She heard the teasing though and smiled "well you know, it's my only scarf" she shrugged. Serena tugged the scarf off though and shrugged slightly "though I have to say not mad about it" she said "cause you're quite the kisser" she winked at him.

Ace grinned, "Thank you, I would have to say the same." he said, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the two tickets holding them up to his eyes "i have to ask..." he said, shifting the two papers so she could clearly see the writing on them "Are you a fan of older movies" he paused as if reading the names on the ticket "Like Dr. Strange Love and, well I'm sure you've heard what three black and white movies are playing at the drive in this week" he shifted the papers again so she could see he had two tickets.

"Thank you" Serena bubbled and the noticed he brought out two tickets with writing on them. She blinked a couple times to focus on the writing be a use her contacts had been button all morning so trying to focus was hard enough. She smiled "I've neve actually seen a black and white movie" she admitted with a slight shrug of her shoulders "but I'd love to go!" She said, trying to see his eyes by the baseball cap his then almost completely. She pursed her lips "you look much handsomer without the baseball cap, you know" she said and reached her hand up to pull the cap off

Ace winced as shee pulled off the hat, his left eye was black and slightly swollen and he had a cut on his eye brow. "It's not quite as bad as it looks at first glance" he said quickly, hoping she came to the conclusion that they were merely unnoticed remainders of his fight with her ex, after all his bangs had been in his face all day.

He gently took the hat from her but didn't put it back on, he waited for ehr to start yelling at him, or maybe to suggest he let her do something about who ever she came to the conclusion had beated him up. he just had to hope she didn't come to the correct conclusion.

more and more. Even in class when I was doing my work. At one point,
I stopped going to school for a few weeks because of it. I have never been
one of the smartest kids in school. But I'm fine with that. There's one thing

When they were submerged into a crowd of screaming girls Lianna couldn't help but feel a little claustrophobic, she hated crowds but for Green Day it would be worth it. Making sure to stay close to Drake as she didn't want to loose her ride, Lianna tried not to wince from all the screaming girls and guys but it wasn't easy. Even when Billie started talking Lianna could barely hear a thing, was this what all concerts were like? Glancing back to Drake Lianna smiled as if to say thank-you, she knew her voice would be drowned out by everything around them. As soon as Serena's hand removed the cap she gasped and her emerald eyes went large as she stared at her. She reached her hand up and with a featherlight touch ran her fingers along the black and blue and then the cut on his eyebrow. Her eyes turned to look in his eyes.
"Ace" she breathed and took her hand away. "What happened?!" she asked, thinking that she had an idea of who it was and it most definitely was not from the fight with her ex boyfriend the day before. She thought about how he had the dark bruises on his arm above his tattoo's.
She gasped, her hands coming to her mouth.
"Did your dad-" she couldn't get the words to come from her mouth and instead felt a lump in her throat. She gulped slightly
