Georgia snickered, then covered that with a cough. He said, very primly; "Well, now, ah think we'd betta head to tha hotel now."

Alfred ignored him. "I'm still the hero!" he said, determined.

Germany shrugged. "We're almost to the hotel now," he said, "distract them or something." He started to speed up his car more. The dogs, sensing his stress, began to whine softly.

Berlin Smirked. "Distract them in a ladylike manner or distract them My way?" She asked.

America's car started to whine. It collapsed, tired, in the middle of the road.

Walking out of the room, he bumped into... Lithuania. Again.

Yay! My friend! he smiled.
"Hi there, Lithuania!"
The brunette turned around.
"Ah. Canada, is that you?" he asked, searching for the source of the voice. "I can't really... Ah! There you are. Couldn't see ya for a second... Heh heh..." He chuckled nervously.
Matthew wanted to cry with joy.
He SEES me! He KNOWS WHO I AM! Oh, I'm so thrilled!

"So, where's everyone going?"
"To Germany's house." Toris replied. "I heard there's going to be a HUGE dinner there."
"Really? Sounds fun!" Canada grinned. "You going?"
"Yeah. I mean, I know since Russia's going..."
Lithuania cringed. "It's not like I have a choice..." he practically whispered.

Canada looked around. "I don't see Russia..."
"Really?" Lithuania asked. "You sure?"
"Yeah. I saw him leave with Ukraine, anyways."
Toris let out a sigh of relief. "Ačiū Dievui!* I'm so glad... I'll go anyways, though."
"Me too." Matthew said.
"So... How will I get there, though...? I don't have a driver's licence, and Russia took the car..."
Canada tentatively raised his hand. "Maybe I can give you a ride..."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I guess... If you don't mind..."
"Ačiū!* I owe ya one, buddy!"

"Buddy"? Did he just say "BUDDY?"
Matthew's eyes glittered with glee. Oh my gosh, I have a BUDDY! A FRIEND! This is the best thing that's ever happened to me!
