The night lay over Vinara like a shroud, touching everything and engulfing all. Silently, quickly, a single form made her way trough the curtains at the altar. Muddy brown eyes hardened to stone with hatred as she silently looked over the sleeping masses crowded there. No horns, drums, or trumpets had sounded the arrival of this sullen warrior, on this night. Slowly she began to pace, she was not filled with worry, nor was she frightened. She hated this place, were her kind were put on display for the masses to come and observe. Slowly she sat, her long heavy sword hit the ground with an audible and loud Clink. There were a few still awake at this ungodly hour, this she knew. That was why she chose to arrive so late, when the heralds were away and the queen was asleep. No one would miss her when she had gone.

With a huff the warrior stood and walked forward. " Greetings those of you still alive in the dark. I am Seriph. I do not look for a companion to coddle me, nor for a friend. I merely seek an ally. I am not the kind of girl to be wooed by a sweet talker, nor am I going to leave here with just anyone. I wish for someone of my own caliber, someone like me. You see, I find it funny that I was ever allowed to be a warrior, i don't like much of anyone, at all really. "

With a last cruel laugh the female faerre sat, waiting, knowing no one would live up to her high held standards.

It was about time i wrote this up for her..
