Norman turned to Samantha and smiled. "Yes. It's Jayden. Norman Jayden. So...Carter never mentioned anything about employees. Do you work for the Philly P.D.?" Norman chuckled.

He turned his head to Madison. "Nothin' against that. " He shrugged a little. "It's great to know that you're doing well. Um, no, no cases...well, not really..not unless this still counts. I still have some things to do here before I go on back home. So, what were you doing on this side of town, Madison, it can get dangerous at night, you know that!" Norman warned.

Sam nodded slightly, then moved the hair from her face that the wind disrupted. "I suppose Blake doesn't really talk about me much," she suggested, knowing that Carter probably didn't even care.

"You know, I'm not a little kid Norman. I can handle myself if things get ugly." I shrugged and gave out a nervous kind of laugh. "Besides, I was just going to run in the store and get something for dinner. Then I'll be gone, Daddy." She said mockingly to Norman's over-concerned Papa Bear mentality he was showing to her.

"I hate being alone in my apartment all the time. I have to do everything." I thought to myself.

Norman's mouth dropped open. "Alright!" He put his hands up. "I was just askin'. Go get dinner and...go wherever it is you go to..." The FBI Agent smirked at her, half joking. " And I've heard that you can handle yourself if you needed to, I just..." He shrugged it off. " I'm just worried about you...ever since...well, y'know..." He left the next part ambigious. "You and Ethan both...I know that wasn't easy for you all."

He gave a concerned smile to Samantha. "No, actually. He never seemed to talk about anyone. He was kind of strict...and I'm usin' the word 'strict' lightly!" He laughed. "I haven't seen you around the station...if you don't mind, what's your name?" Norman asked with a smile.

"Romantan. Samantha Romantan," Sam introduced. "I'm usually outside or in my office, so it's no surprise you don't see me. No one rarely does, really," she chuckled lightly, kind of enjoying the company.

Norman smiled. "Im kind of the same way. I get shy a lot." He chuckled. "It's fantastic to meet you, Samantha." Norman held out his hand for her to shake. "Were you...going into the store?" He held the door open for her to pass by.

Sam shook his hand gladly before shaking her head. "Nah, I was just heading back to the station. I've got some late night stuff to catch up with," she commented, noting the documents in her hand. "I usually just pass out from exhaustion when I'm over there so it's kind of like a second home." Sam smiled lightly, knowing it was quite true.

Norman chuckled. "I was just there, actually, not too long ago. " He smiled. "Yeah..depending on how much work I have, I usually get back to my hotel really, really late." He laughed. "I actually have some more stuff to work on with the Origami Killer case." Heck, if she works there, she probably heard all about it...especially with Captain Perry's press conferences the whole day! Norman thought. "Are you working on the case, too?" He asked, and then looked real embarrassed. Was that alright to ask?

"Yeah, I'm currently working my way into it. They needed a little more help based on all those conferences," she commented, knowing those press conferences were a complete pain when you were trying to get work done. That, and Samantha was quite an anti-social person, she normally just sat there.
