Mya nodded. "I know," she said. "At least it's only a month."

Mason nodded. "I miss the kids."

Maria flopped on the bed, and looked at Jackson, smiling.

Mya nodded. "They all miss you, too."

Mason sighed. "Why didn't you bring them?"

"Maria and Jacks left for Venice, Chloe and Myles are going to the doctor, Mandy's at Shane's, Mark has weeks or catch up work to do and he wanted to get it all done today, Makayla's watching Max because he's not feeling well. She said she'd watch him so I could come here."
