Ah, the Lakeside Forest. This is a forest with many county paths. You've explored every single inch, or so you thought until the fateful day you found a new path, and your life changed forever. ***You don't HAVE to read the stuff in italics, but it would be nice if you did! I worked hard on that, you know! However, there's a TL;DR further down on the page if you can't be bothered to read this all.***

You bicycled into the forest, going along the familiar entrance path on Main Street. Why is it called Main Street? There's certainly nothing "main" about it; there are bigger streets than this all around the city! you thought.
Shaking your head in slight amusement, you finally reached the cliff and pulled your bike up it, then cycled into the center of the forest, where you chose a path to take. There were four individual and well-worn paths at the side of the clearing.
"Hmm...," you muttered to yourself. "Now, where shall I go?"
Suddenly, something stood out to you: It was a small path! The grass was slightly trampled and nobody but a forest expert such as yourself would have noticed it. In fact, it could hardly be called a 'path' yet; it more looked like somebody was trying to beat a path there, although God knows where it was supposed to lead. You glanced up somewhat nervously: It led into darker, deeper forest, and you had always been told not to go in that direction. However, eventually curiosity won over, and you, after checking the reception on your cell phone one more time and telling yourself that if anything went wrong you'd be able to call your parents at home, set off into the forest on your bike.

A few hours passed. It was darker and spookier. You thought you should probably go home, but when you looked around it was all dark, and the slight inkling of a path disappeared into the blackness. You groaned, and decided to call your parents so the nearest police agency could put a tracker on your phone and look for you. However, the cell phone had no reception, and your eyes widened slightly at the realization that you were lost. This far into the forest, all you could hear were the sounds of birds chirping and the like. You got off your bike and let it lean against your thigh while you looked around, steadily growing more and more apprehensive as the sky and the area around you darkened.
Well, this is it.... I'm lost, you thought.
Suddenly, you thought you heard a noise. It sounded like... a taxi, or a bus? Hmm.... What could that be? you wondered, and you were curious, so you ran with all your speed towards the sound. You got there just as a bus pulled up. A bus! you thought gleefully.
You walked your bike up to the doors and they opened. You were startled to see a kappa, of all things, riding a bus, and a cat in the back, watching you intently.
"Goin' to Crohanna District?" the kappa - male, you decided - asked you.
"Cro...Cro...Crohanna District?" you choked out. "Where's that?"
"Oh, it's just 'bout fourteen hours up the road." He lifted a hand - or was it a paw, or something? You couldn't quite tell - and pointed in front of him. You decided that since you didn't know where you were, you might as well get on; this had a very good chance of taking you home! You scoped out the area. It was surrounded by trees on the side you came in, and then there was a dirt road with a bus stop sign in the shape of a triangle on it. Past that, there was a row of sparsely-placed trees all along the side of a cliff, and you could see some forests and then a magnificent ocean far down.
"I'll come," you decided. All you had was your bike, the clothes off your back, and a signal-less cell phone.
"Oh, and you'll have to leave the bike," the cat added with a nod, talking for the first time.
"....Okay." You stashed it in some grasses - after all, you can always come back for it later! - and got onto the bus, checking your cell phone one last time before finally getting on. You didn't look back as the bus drove away.

You woke up with a start.
"I must have fallen asleep!" you exclaimed out loud, to no one in particular. You noticed that you were rocking and jolting, and suddenly the previous days' events came back to you. The bus was doing a lot of twisting and turning, and you noticed that the sky was dark blue and overcast in most areas.
"Where are we? How long have we been driving for?" you asked.
"We're almost there," the cat explained. He was blue and white, and wore a red-plaid shirt with yellow cuffs. You thought he looked pretty friendly, so you struck up a conversation. It didn't take very long until you finally pulled up at a bus stop. You got off, Rover wishing you a cheerful farewell, and realized at once where you were.

So, something happened on that bus ride. At first, you weren't completely astonished, nor were you revolted, by the sight of the talking animals. In fact, there was maybe even a little bit of recognition in your mind! You couldn't place it until you were dropped outside the gates, however.
There is friendly rivalry between the two towns, but Tom Nook is acting stranger each day. Is it possible that he is planning to completely take over all the comings and goings of the towns? Will the people be able to band together and stop him.... Before it's too late?
Differences
Now, this world is not as similar to the ones in the games as you once might have thought. You can order food from a hotline in your house, in the kitchen. The houses come with a front room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom premade - four rooms. The bedroom connects right to the bathroom, however, which is very small. There is no attic.
The front room is a 10x10 like in the games. The kitchen is the right room, and it's a normal 6x6 room. The bedroom is 6x6 and is upstairs. The bathroom is 4x6, 4 squares wide, and 6 squares long.
Each town will have every kind of fruit from the start. One fruit will be the 'native' fruit, however. Native fruits go for 100 Bells. Exotic fruits go for 500 Bells.
Tom Nook and the Able Sisters will still be there, although each store will be fully upgraded. By that, I mean that Nookington's will be there, and the Able Sisters will now be slightly larger, with a part of the store for shirts, one for costumes, one for designs, and one for Sable's workspace.
The City will be the same for all the towns. All of the people in all of the towns will visit the same city.
All characters have cellphones to communicate with each other, and each character can also see who's online and texting, and who's not.

Rules:
You may only have one character, unless we can't get enough people to join.
We won't be adding more towns unless the demand for this roleplay is really popular. If you would like me to add another town because the rest are all full, please PM me! If I get more than four PMs (once all the slots are full), I will consider adding another one.
Every week, we will vote on one villager to move out of one town. The poll will go on for three days, and the villager with the most votes will leave. After that, we will put up a poll with other possible villagers to visit the town. Every week, the town will switch. One week, somebody will move out of Crowelle. Then next, somebody will move out of Tinker. And then it goes around and around in a circle like that.
You must adhere to the villagers' personalities.
An example is that Daisy is Normal, so she won't be going like, "OMG!!! This shirt I found at Able's is, like, so great!" Rather, she'll say, "I was at Able's today, and I found this new shirt. Isn't it lovely?"
Conversely, Bunnie is Peppy, so she won't be going like, "I love astronomy. I want to be an astronomer one day." Rather, she'll say, "I love astronomy! Man, would I ever like to be an astronomer some day!"
The villagers talk with catchphrases. However, they do not use them every sentence. Goldie might say, "It's a really nice night tonight, don't you think, BOW-wow? What's your favourite part of the night? Mine is seeing the stars up there, in full view.... BOW-wow...."
First come, first serve. No, I do not care if you really want to move into Crowelle, even if it's full. If Crowelle is full, unless somebody agrees to switch with you, you either join Tinker or you don't join at all. Got it?
No powerplaying/godmodding. You can't always catch the thing you were chasing after! I'd say that for rarer bugs and fish, your general catch rate should be one out of five. For common bugs and fish, it can be more like one out of two. You can do the math on the rest.
You can inter-town visit! If I signed up as Lisa May in Crowelle, and Starkit12 signed up as Timber in Tinker, we wouldn't have to just play alone. No, instead, we can open the gates and then go visit each other! The animals will not visit each other.
