Jumpingfoot blinked, still slightly in shock, but the skiddish tom blinked before he crouched, "I'm sorry but I can't allow that miss." He said as he jumped forward, gently batting her with his sheathed paws as a warning.

Asami growled. " I'll hurt you!" she hissed trying to sound ferocious. The she cat stood still though.

"But I don't want to hurt you," He said firmly, he frowned before he sighed and tossed his catch to the skinny she-cat, "Take it." He said with a frown, "Are you a former clan cat?"

Asami flicked her ears surprised. The she cat took the mouse in her mouth, but still stayed alert. " What does it matter?" she asked being stubborn.

"Safety in numbers, plenty of food to go around, a warm nest to sleep in every night." He listed off the reasons calmly.

Asami flicked her ears, she didn't quiet trust him yet. " No I was never in a stupid clan." she said her eyes narrowed, the mouse hidden under her paws.

Asami flicked her ears. " Pssh! No! I'm the best fighter this clan has yet to seen. I would tell you my past, but you would probably tell your clan. And some she cat you like." the she cat said not even knowing if he liked any she cat or not. " Besides I'm sure a good looking tom like you certainly has a she cat." she said trying to amuse him so he would forget about asking her past, she didn't want to tell him about her being declawed.
