I have all the movies, and the last four books in another language than my main c: I am still searching for the rest, but they are damn expensive!

I want them in Dutch, too. But the names of stuff and people are different there, except for Harry's, because he is the main...

I also love the part in CoS when Lockhart starts a duelling club and the way Snape says "Expelliarmus" And then how Lockhart says "It was PRETTY obvious"



What bothers me in the books, is that every teacher is called Proffesor *surname*, except for Snape, he's just Snape.

Example:

Snape stopped death in the doorway. "Crouch!" He said "Barty Crouch Jr!" , and then. Proffesor McGonnagal stopped and shrieked.

Ya see?

and i think that's cuz it's writte from harry's perspective and he hates sev..maybe? ^^

I think my favourite actor is just Alan Rickman, He's just amazing. His voice O.O God's voice, dangit! But in other movies he plays (Rasputing, Die Hard) he's one of the bests, too c:

i bought a lot of movies in the first place because of him or other amazing hp actors ^^ :33

alan rickman, jamie campell bower, timothy spall and helena bonham carter <33 :D

Is it just me, or in movies can you pick out actors? Like in the Lone Ranger, with the lady with the gun leg/foot, I instantly knew it was Helena Bottam Carter {Belatrix's actor} lol

I totally agree, yep. I have watched the part were Alan Rickman sings x)

But it is true, and for some reason, those actors will always be the characters they played in the HP movies. And you will be like 'Oh, Helena Bonham Carter was so much better as Bellatrix than this one', ya know? XD

to me to! ^^; a few days ago my mum was watching a movie on tv with ralph fiennes and i was immediately "omg it's voldi!!" xD
and Helena B C was really the best to play bellatrix :33 actually now that i think of it, every actor choice they made fitted well <33 only tonks and james potter didn't look like i imagine them but they had the character so it was ok ^^ :3

I thought I was the only one! I was disappointed by Tonk's appearance, but the actress eventually grew on me. Lupin was a lot easier for me to get used to. "Oh hey it's Lupin, he really doesn't look like the Lupin in my head HE STILL HAS THE CHOCOLATE OKAY I DON'T CARE ANYMORE."

I watched the movies first, so I don't really have much of the character doesn't look like what I thought in my head

I read the books when I was pretty young, so I don't remember too much of how the characters used to look in my head. All I know is Emma Watson isn't homely enough, Daniel Radcliffe isn't lanky enough, and Mrs. Malfoy isn't as sour-faced as she was in the books.

The book-to-movie differences don't bother me though. All the stuff they did right completely swamps all the inaccuracies.

Except for the "your mother's eyes" thing. Inexcusable in my opinion.
