The character is a hyena because: I wanted an explanation for his rather large, bristly mane, and his build. His ears should be rounded like a hyena, but he didn't have enough of a manned wolf look to me when I changed the ears. I've really liked hyenas since I was a kid and saw the Lion King but never bothered to make a character of it until this year.

Describe this hyena's importance to you: Creating head cannons and talking about Sloth has given me and one of my very close internet friends something to talk about, and overtime we were able to move on to different subjects, but having a shared character helped give us something to say when we were both stumped. She's helped me a lot with my anxiety and I'm happy we have a character we can both talk about without being corrected.

My dream cupcake would be...: Probably one that isn't loaded with icing, but is very thick and almost 'spongy' as I describe it.

One of my first characters
The character is a hyena because:
I had a group of friends that were all artistically inclined. One day, after we had been aimlessly drawing anything we could, we decided to make actual characters that we would keep coming back to, something special to us that we would take time to make perfect and loveable. A character that wasn't necessarily a fursona, but one that we knew the inside and out of. All of my friends either chose horses, or wolves, but I wanted something different. I chose for Tafari to be a hyena because she was like me, different. She was something unique that I could call my own, and an animal that I didn't see every day, so I worked my hardest to learn how to draw her.

I haved owned Tafari since... I suppose it would be sometime in the summer of 2001? I remember making her not long after we adopted my dog
Describe this hyena's importance to you:
(I described it in the explanation of why she was a hyena) As for an extra note, after years of horrendous attempts at drawing her, I finally made one that I am extremely proud of. My friends had already mastered their special characters while I was still struggling with mine

My dream cupcake would be...:
A chocolate cupcake with caramel filling, along with a butter cream icing drizzled with both chocolate and caramel.

The character is a hyena because: I love hyenas. My fursona used to be one until I realized I wasn't really a yena. But i still love them and decided to make her one. Plus a cosplaying hyena is just adorable!

Describe this hyena's importance to you: Kaitlyn is of huge importance to me. She has a couple of my qualities and my love of dressing up. I also would like to get into cosplaying so she is kind of like a little motivation for me.

That is allowed yes. But the time you've owned the character count in to some extent, so you might need an extra convincing form.

The character is a hyena because: It made me think of a friend in real life who loved to laugh and just overall fit a hyena, and her favorite animal was a hyena
I have owned this character since [year/month]: 2012/6 I have revamped her since, she's older but the design is the date listed
Describe this hyena's importance to you: This Hyena is a character of mine made to represent a friend of mine, Grace, who was pretty much a light in the dark for me, even though she may now know what she means to me, this character is like a secondary fursona in my mind, she's made it into a lot of head canons involving my fursona and a friend of hers, who has a character. This character isn't used too much on CS but she is something that means a lot of me definitely, the friend she represents is graduated from school and I don't see her as much so I want to begin loving on this character as much as I did with her previous design.

The character is a hyena because: Originally he was created for a hyena roleplay. The roleplay died pretty quickly, but I ended up getting really attached to him and kept him as a character.

Describe this hyena's importance to you: Chewy is one of my favorite characters. I have a bunch of little doodles of him in my sketch books. He's such a weird, hyperactive little guy and he's definitely one of my main characters.
I absolutely love hyenas, they're really interesting animals and I love how their families work. I've always been fascinated with the species and Chewy is no exception.
