Moonfire leaped down, ready to slash at any foxes. Following the fox-scent, she found a stray fox. That fox is a coward, not even trying to fight. she thought, scratching the fox's face. "That'll teach YOU to be a coward!!" she yowled, narrowly missing a bite aimed for her.

[Knuckles the Echidna]

Couragestar jumped along the trees to watch Moonstripe. He jumped down on top of the back if one of the foxes and clawed at its eyes. He leaped to safety as the fox turned on him.

Suddenly the fox retaliated, biting her hard. Scrambling to claw it, Moonfire managed to scratch it's ear.

Seeing the other fox distracted, Moonstripe jumped on the one looking at her. She landed with her paws around its muzzle, digging them in and holding them shut, and her back legs on its shoulders, her belly covering its eyes. She growled, biting down in its nose, hard, and digging her back claws into its shoulder blades.

The small and whispy she-cat nodded, standing up to her paws. Even to her mentor, Morningpaw was shy, but she was always on time for patrols and did her chores quietly. Just like a apprentice should.

Flarepaw sensed the fox's attacking his clanmates and sprinted through the forest towards them. He burst into the clearing where Blazingheart and Tigerpaw were but the fox's were already gone. He used his sense to tell him that there were three Courageclan cats in Poolclan territory and the fox's were attacking them.

OOC:For those of you who don't know, Flarepaw's prophecy power is to sense where other cats and animals are.

"C'mon then!" she said, trotting out of the camp. She started to pick up the pace. Suddenly, she heard her brother's voice. "Some-thing's wrong." she murmured. Without waiting for Morningpaw, she dashed off toward the spot where she heard Blazingheart. When she saw Flarepaw and Blazingheart there she said "What's going on? And where's Tigerpaw?"-she caught a whiff of something foul on the breeze.-"What's that stench? Fox?"

He rolled his eyes as his obnoxious sister rambled on. Finally, he interrupted her, "In the name of StarClan, Shiningtail, stop ask-ing so many questions! Foxes attacked us and then all of the sudden they turned started to chase something else. Tigerpaw thought that another CourageClan cat was strolling around our territory again. He went off to see exactly what was going on." he couldn't believe that he took the time to explain everything. "We'd better go find him. Shiningtail, you stay here in case the foxes come back and try to attack the camp. Flarepaw, you come with me." And with a flick of his tail, he raced off after Tigerpaw.

I knew it was a CourageClan cat! He leaped at one of the smaller foxes. It was surprisingly strong for its tiny size. The fox batted him away and then chomped down on his leg. Cats for miles around would probably have heard his shriek of agony.

The fox threw moonstripe off. She growled, ducking under a swipe from one. She yowled, as another swipe caught her ear. She began to run again, the fox following her. She soon starte to run out of breath again and hid under a root.

(she went back to camp and said that foxes were attacking, but no one payed attention to her I guess.)
Flamebreeze dashed back and saw Shiningtail. "What happened to the foxes?" She asked.

Moonfire leaped back, hearing the cry. She scratched the fox's neck, hissing at it. It fled, with quite a few scars to remember.
