Sneakers hit pavement as Zayden made his way back to his apartment, unruly locks of shoulder-length chestnut hair falling into his eyes. He usually didn't take his car to work; it was a waste of time considering the store was only a few blocks away. Nonetheless, when you work night shift walking back home is certainly a chore. He let out a sigh, his ice blue gaze slowly travelling up to the sky, which was pitch black aside from the glittering stars.
He dropped his head back down to his feet, shoving his hands in his pockets before raising an eyebrow. There was something in there. He pulled out a small swan origami, and couldn't help but smirk. Oh, yeah. He found that on the floor earlier. Honestly, people shouldn't even be allowed to make those anymore. He crumpled it into a ball and tossed it onto the sidewalk, going into his apartment building. He went into the elevator, pressing the button for the 3rd floor and leaning against the wall, crossing his arms and closing his eyes momentarily.
