Something just occured to me.

Sasuke is technically already dead. Think back to him leaving and the retrieval arc for minute.

Sasuke was instructed to take a pill before he got into that barrel thing, right? Didn't one of those guys say that the pill basically killed him? I mean, i would have to re-read that to be sure but......yeah.

EDIt: Which i also just realized means he can't 'revive his clan', if you catch me.

So either i just found the biggest plot-hole ever, or Kishi has something up his sleeve to explain that later.

Also, Didn't Tsunade say, after Naruto had used his Rasen-shuriken the first time, that if he continued to us it, he would lose his ability to have Chakra in that arm? He's done it what....50 more times since then?

But he has the Kyuubi in him...the magical healing powers that the Kyuubi possesses could keep that from happening. Plus Naruto is a BAMF and he just rolls like that.

Nope.
It was Sakon who explained the pill.
Sasuke temporarily died so his curse mark could be awakened.
He was dead when he was in that sealed barrel thing but he came back to life after being 'awakened', that's why he was laughing and ran off when he came out of the barrel in front of Naruto.
He isn't actually dead now.
He just temporarily died so he could be able to take his ultimate curse form thing. I'm pretty sure what the Sound 4 sealed the barrel with is what kept him from permanently dying.


You should read the part again, I suck at explaining this. I just have the Retrieval Arc on DVD and I've watched it 4 or 5 times through xD I once watched the whole arc in one day. It was a year or two ago and I had a bad fever so I did nothing but lie on the floor and watch Naruto non-stop.

I understand your explanation, but the way it worked makes it sound like Kishi got confused during that part. xD
