Aspenwillow padded across the clearing, gathering cats for a small hunting patrol. She had two, and wanted one more. "Banditwhisker?" She called to her friend. ''If you're not busy, would you join my hunting patrol?" She always viewed the tom as a high-ranking cat. Everyone liked him, and if he wanted he could probably be deputy. In a way though, she was glad he wasn't. After all, she loved her position. Blinking her blue eyes, she swished her multi-color tail.
