been a while since i posted here, under page twenty in fact X3 /shot.
i've officially got fourteen hoards on the go. most are omg so common to uncommon, but i do have a warrior hoard - which is getting nowhere - and a 2011 easter dog hoard - also going nowhere. i have no good trade fodder >.<' my three most active hoards at the minute are immortal elixir and mud elixir. but i lost interest for a while and any recent additions to those hoards have been adopted from the pound, not traded for. my most recent hoard i've found myself interested in is butterpups. ; butterfly wolves x canine hybrids which first became available in the medieval fair of '11. i rooted around in my other groups and found fifteen of them, put them in a group to see what they all looked like together and realised i had accidentally begun a new hoard.

Well my all cats hoard hit 500, and I probably have about 50 more that are unsorted, but I still need to get more.

Woot woot! Thanks to a very generous gifter, I've finished my first hoard; Glass Bottles and Trinkets! Now to finish my Angel Kisses and Stitched-up Kittens hoards.

Why do you hoard them?
I started hoarding these darlings for quite a few reasons.
1. I hadn't started a hoard for awhile and wanted to try my first large quantity hoard that was breed specific.
2. I had liked the idea of doing a one value type hoard as I have always wanted to watch their rarities change over time.
3. I decided to hoard 2012 dogs because 2012 was the year that I had to give away my two darling dogs Buster and LeeLou to a close friend thousands of miles away due to moving into a no pets apartment. I had buster for 8+ years and LeeLou for 4 so they meant the world to me and still do. It is in their honor that I chose dogs from that year ^^

How large is your hoard?
Only 89 at the moment
What is your goal for the hoard?
My short goal is 1,000 but my ultimate goal is 10,000 as crazy as it sounds.

Just finished my mini hoard ^_^ I hadn`t had any for quite a while and this one was uninentional - I already had 12 and I thought why not to take them to 20.

I feel like starting a new hoard with very recent pets. I really like this outcome, I hope I`ll still do when it grows up.

It has so much potential to become my new hoard pet <3

Surprised how fast its grown. <3 Thank god I have enough fodder, though who knows how hard it'll get down the road as this is going to hopefully be an infinite hoard.

Naming them all is getting much harder as well, I'd love to keep it up but I don't know how long I can.

I've recently reached over 100 pets in my hoard of this month's 2nd gens and their parents.
I realize it's not much, but I feel really excited!

I had hoped to get this many, but I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be. I admit, there were days when no one wanted to trade their kitties, and I almost wanted to give up... but I am very happy to have gotten this far -- and it's still within the month! :3
