Chloe's jaw dropped. "Is she okay?" She asked.

Mandy walked in, sitting by Mya.

Maria shrugged. "I don't know. I panicked and ran to you."

Shane went and sat with her, rubbing her back. "It's nice to meet you Mrs. Mathews, if only in better circumstances." He said.

Chloe sighed. "Are you okay?"

Mya looked at Shane, and chuckled a bit. "Ditto," she said, wiping her tears. "I'm sorry you had to be here for this."

Maria sighed. "Yeah."

"It's okay. Thanks for letting me stay while my parents are away." Shane said.

"Okay. He didn't hurt you?" She asked.

Shane kept an arm over Mandy's shoulders.

Chloe sighed, hugging her. "Where's the kids? They didn't hear it, did they?"

Maria shook her head. "I don't think so. I'll check on mine you check yours?"

Shane blushed, looking down. Here it goes again. He thought to himself. Her mom is going to be just like her dad was. He sighed, moving his arm.

Chloe nodded, going up to check on Anna and Ryan. She kissed their heads, making sure they had stayed asleep.

Anna stayed still, sleeping peacefully.

Ryan shifted when she kissed him, but he stayed asleep.

Mandy took Shane's hand. "No, Mom's cool with us, I swear."

Maria walked into her room, hoping Jacks would be awake.
